and Responsibilities:\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable Azure-based data solutions\nDesign, implement, and manage end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and related technologies.\nDevelop and deploy data integration and transformation processes to consolidate, cleanse, and enrich data from various sources\nImplement best practices for data modeling, storage, and indexing in Azure SQL databases and Azure Data Lake Storage.\nOptimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency, leveraging Azure services.\nDesign and implement data security, access controls, and compliance measures in accordance with industry standards.\nCollaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and other stakeholders to provide accurate and timely data for analytics and reporting.\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, performance, and data quality.\nStay updated with the latest Azure technologies and trends in data engineering to ensure continuous improvement of our data solutions.\nMentor and guide junior data engineers on technical best practices and development methodologies.\nParticipate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\nProven track record of 5-8 years in Azure data engineering, with a focus on data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing.\nStrong expertise in designing and implementing data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and related Azure services.\nProficiency in SQL queries and scripting for data transformation and integration.\nExperience with data modeling, database design, and optimization for Azure SQL databases and Azure Data Lake Storage.\nFamiliarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and version control.\nKnowledge of cloud security principles and practices for data protection and compliance.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex data engineering issues.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.\nPrior experience mentoring and guiding junior data engineers is advantageous.\nMicrosoft
