They're looking for an Accountant based in the Philippines to support an Australian business, reporting directly to the CEO. You'll handle the day-to-day accounting, payroll and compliance, with transaction volumes that are manageable rather than overwhelming, and plenty of autonomy over how you plan your work.\nWhat You'll Do\nRun day-to-day accounting in Xero: payables, receivables, credit cards, petty cash and customer receipting.\n\nReconcile bank and credit card accounts daily, and complete month-end reconciliations across creditors, the general ledger and systems such as Stripe and CRM.\n\nProcess the fortnightly payroll, employee reimbursements and entitlement records.\n\nHandle Australian compliance: PAYG, BAS, payroll tax, superannuation, WorkCover and related lodgements, working with the CEO.\n\nMaintain the asset register and keep cash flow reporting current.\n\nSupport the statutory accounts, annual budgets and forecasts.\n\nImprove finance processes and help roll out new software that makes reporting faster and clearer.\n\nPick up ad hoc requests from managers and directors, keeping priorities aligned with the CEO.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\nAustralian accounting experience (essential).\n\nWorking knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, GST, FBT, income tax and payroll tax.\n\nStrong reconciliation skills and a sharp eye for accuracy.\n\nAdvanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.\n\nExperience managing creditors and payment processing.\n\nClear written and verbal communication, and the ability to juggle requests from different people.\n\nIntegrity and discretion: you'll handle sensitive payroll and financial information, and keep it private at all times.\n\nSelf-motivation, initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.\n\nNice to Have\nHands-on Xero experience (highly
