We guarantee that the satellites we design can be produced using repeatable, scalable processes. We are the nexus between design and manufacturing, working under tight deadlines to ensure rapid production feasibility.\nAbout the Internship\nAs a Software-AIT Intern, you won't just be writing code; you will be the architect of the environment where hardware meets software. You will develop the Python-based tools and frameworks required to validate our satellite prototypes and production units.\nKey Responsibilities\nHardware Interface Development:Develop Python tools to interface with satellite subsystems via protocols like CAN, SPI, I2C, and UART.\nTest Automation:Assist in creating automated test sequences for complex electronic circuits and satellite prototypes.\nSystem Integration:Support the setup and maintenance of physical test benches, including power supplies, oscilloscopes, and data acquisition systems.\nFramework Contribution:Collaborate on building scalable software frameworks used by the production team to monitor satellite health.\nQuality Assurance:Help oversee the reliability of test solutions to ensure they provide accurate \"Pass/Fail\" feedback in a manufacturing setting.\nAbout you\nRequired/Desirable skills:\nPython Proficiency:Strong ability to use Python for automation, data processing, or hardware control.\nElectronics Fundamentals:Deep understanding of complex electronic circuits and the ability to read schematics.\nHardware Interfacing:Experience working with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and Ethernet.\nEmbedded Foundations:Familiarity with C and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) or Linux.\nExperience with Docker/containersfor deploying test environments.\nVersion control using Git.\nHands-on experience with lab equipment (Osciloscopes, Multimeters, etc.).\nLocation\nMontevideo, Uruguay.\nDiversity Commitment\nSatellogic values diversity and inclusion and is an equal opportunity employer.
