What you'll be doing
As our Staff Software Engineer, Consumer Wealth Domain, you'll play a defining and strategic role in shaping how our users grow and manage their savings and investments. Here's what that looks like in practice:
Define Technical Strategy - Define the technical strategy for the Consumer Wealth domain, architecting complex subsystems that power savings and investment features with cross-product considerations.
Advance the Architecture - Design and build scalable, high-quality systems that solve complex financial engineering problems, including managing and simplifying complex back-end systems.
Technical Thought Leadership - Build cross-organizational relationships to drive technical alignment, represent the technical vision, and stay ahead of emerging technology trends in FinTech and wealth management.
Develop Talent - Develop the next generation of technical leaders and champion a culture of high-quality engineering and continuous improvement.
Generate Impact - Play a vital role in helping users grow their wealth through contributions to the Consumer Wealth back-end infrastructure (Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, AWS).
Who we're looking for
This role needs a visionary problem-solver who excels in cross-team collaboration with deep technical expertise.
Extensive Experience - At least 7 years in back-end software engineering within product-based companies, with a proven track record of architecting, building, and maintaining microservices and complex cloud environments.
Domain Expertise - Deep experience with Java, a strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS is a plus), and interest in financial products and wealth management systems.
Strategic Communication - Ability to communicate in a structured and convincing manner, building trust and cross-organizational relationships to achieve technical alignment.
Thought Leadership - Proven ability to generate intellectual property, lead technical vision, and capitalize on emerging technology trends.
Passion and Language Skills - Passion for FinTech or startup environments and fluency in English.

Salary: €64,000- €88,000 gross per annum
This range is set using objective, gender-neutral criteria for the role's core requirements. However, we do not believe in putting a ceiling on talent. The final compensation package is tailored according to your unique experience and expertise.
