As a Data Production Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that satellite data is efficiently planned, processed, and delivered, transforming raw observations into valuable insights for projects and users worldwide.

Your mission

Your mission will be to ensure the seamless production, processing, and delivery of Earth observation data from satellite missions, guaranteeing reliability, quality, and responsiveness to user needs.

By coordinating planning, monitoring operations, and improving data workflows, your work will transform satellite acquisitions into actionable data products that support global projects.

You will:

• Manage end-to-end data production, from acquisition planning to processing, delivery, and monitoring.
• Coordinate and improve ground segment tools involved in mission services and data workflows.
• Define and implement contingency plans to address anomalies and ensure continuity of operations.

What will set you up for success

• A strong foundation in geospatial or engineering fields: A degree in Geomatics, Aerospace, Telecommunications, Software, or similar enables you to understand both data and mission context.
• Understanding of satellite missions: Familiarity with how space missions operate helps you anticipate constraints and optimize data production processes.
• Experience with geospatial data processing: Working with Earth observation or GIS data allows you to generate reliable and valuable outputs.
• Programming skills: Knowledge of Python, Java, or similar tools helps you automate processes and improve efficiency.
• Adaptability in fast-paced environments: Comfort working under deadlines ensures smooth mission operations and timely delivery.
• Clear communication in international contexts: Fluency in English and Spanish enables effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
• Technical depth as a plus: Experience in satellite operations, GIS/remote sensing tools, database management, or data services will accelerate your impact.
