As a project leader, you will be accountable for the full project lifecycle management- from preconstruction through closeout- on complex or high-profile projects. In this role you will leads cross-functional teams, mentors’junior staff, and ensures that all aspects of project delivery align with contract commitments, operational standards, and company values.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\nLead project planning and mobilization; define execution strategy and resource needs.\nAccept the project from estimating and lead the budget transfer process.\nAssist with theCPM baseline schedule, monthly updates, narratives, and delay fragments.\nOversee coordination of the CPM schedule with field operations and procurement timelines.\nLead subcontractor purchasing, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and bonding policies.\nManage submittal workflows and assist in expeditingmaterial deliveries to meet schedule milestones.\nOversee material inspections and ensure compliance with contract documents and approved submittals.\nAdminister the change order process, including documentation and impact analysis.\nPrepare and submit monthly draw requests; manage billing and collections to maintain positive cash flow.\nReview and analyze weekly and monthly cost reports; implement corrective actions to maintain budget.\nPrepare and administer the “Third Point Review” and achieve agreed-upon margin goals.\nManage all billingand payment processes with owners and subcontractors.\nEnsure compliance with contract terms, insurance requirements, lien waivers, and reporting standards.\nLead the S&P Quality Control Program and ensure inspection readiness and documentation.\nParticipate in business development activities including client relationships, proposals, and presentations.\nMaintain strong professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nREQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS\nB.A. or B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent experience \n3-5+ years of relevant experience in managing construction projects, safety acumen, and a thorough knowledge of contract documents, materials, equipment utilization, scheduling systems, productivity analysis, construction operations, and cash flow procedures isessential.\nSatterfield and Pontikes Construction, Inc., is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
