We turn earth observation data into actionable insights for governments, financial institutions, and enterprises across the developing world - at scale, with reliability.\nRole Overview\nWe are looking for a Finance Manager to lead the company's financial controllership, accounting, reporting, treasury, taxation, compliance and business finance activities.\nThe role will have end-to-end responsibility for financial close, consolidation of multiple entities, MIS, cash-flow management, investor reporting, fundraising support, statutory compliance, audit management and finance-process automation.\nThe ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced technology/start-up environment and should be capable of independently managing senior stakeholders, auditors, investors, banks, tax advisors and cross-functional teams.\nRole and Responsibilities\n1. Financial Controllership & Reporting\nManage monthly, quarterly and annual financial close and reporting.\nEnsure accuracy of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and financial schedules.\nReview accounting entries, provisions, accruals, revenue recognition and reconciliations.\nEnsure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.\n2. Consolidation & Subsidiaries\nManage consolidation of Indian and overseas subsidiaries.\nReview inter-company transactions, balances and eliminations.\nCoordinate with subsidiary finance teams for timely closing and reporting.\nPrepare consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules.\n3. Zoho Books & Finance Systems\nOwn accounting operations and controls in Zoho Books.\nEnsure proper chart of accounts, transaction recording, reconciliations and reporting.\nDrive automation of accounting, invoicing, collections, vendor payments and reporting.\nIdentify opportunities to improve finance processes through technology and automation.\n4. MIS, Budgeting & Business Finance\nPrepare monthly MIS, management dashboards and financial analysis.\nTrack revenue, expenses, margins, budgets and key business KPIs.\nSupport annual budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.\nProvide financial insights to management for business decisions.\n5. Cash Flow & Treasury\nOwn short-term and long-term cash-flow planning and forecasting.\nMonitor collections, vendor payments, payroll and other major cash requirements.\nManage working capital and ensure optimal utilisation of available funds.\nCoordinate with banks on banking operations, facilities, BGs and other treasury matters.\n6. Investor Reporting & Fundraising\nPrepare financial information and MIS for investors, lenders and the Board.\nSupport fundraising, due diligence, valuation and financial data-room requirements.\nCoordinate with investors, lenders, advisors and internal teams for financial information.\nEnsure consistency and accuracy of financial data shared externally.\n7. GST, Tax & Compliance\nOversee GST, TDS and other direct/indirect tax compliances.\nReview GST returns, reconciliations, notices and tax assessments.\nEnsure timely statutory filings and maintain appropriate documentation.\nCoordinate with tax advisors and consultants on tax matters.\n8. Audit & Due Diligence\nLead coordination with statutory auditors, internal auditors and other advisors.\nEnsure timely closure of audit requirements and observations.\nPrepare audit schedules, financial workings and supporting documentation.\nSupport investor, lender and transaction-related due diligence.\nQualifications\nCA qualified\n7-12 years of relevant experience, preferably in a high-growth, technology or start-up environment.\nMust have skills\nStrong hands-on experience in Zoho Books and financial reporting.\nExperience in group consolidation and subsidiary accounting.\nStrong understanding of GST, taxation, audit and statutory compliance.\nExperience in investor reporting, fundraising and financial due diligence.\nStrong cash-flow, working-capital and MIS experience.\nAdvanced Excel and financial modelling skills.\nStrong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.\nProven experience in managing and developing finance teams.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.\nBenefits\nMedical Health Cover for you and your family, including unlimited online doctor consultations.\nWe believe family comes first.
