mission operations and data analytics.\nWe are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to support the design, configuration analysis and documentation of structures and ground support systems.\nThis role is ideal for a student or recent graduate who is curious about precision mechanical design and analysis of space systems and wants hands-on exposure to real engineering workflows used in satellite payload development.\nYou will work closely with mechanical and systems engineers and gain experience across design, analysis, documentation, and reviews.\nResponsibilities\nAssist in mechanical design and detailing of satellite payload structures, optical mounts, enclosures, electronic packages, and Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE).\nSupport CAD modeling and drawings for parts and assemblies.\nAssist in the documentation of configurations and analysis results.\nHelp with optical support structure and testing concepts.\nAssist in documentation:Design notes\nAnalysis summaries\nTest and review support material (PDR/DDR level)\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams (optics, electronics, systems).\nQualifications\nCurrently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Aerospace Engineering.\nStrong fundamentals in:Engineering mechanics\nStrength of materials\nBasic structural analysis\n\nPreferred Skills\nExposure to CAD and FEA tools (NX Simcenter or HyperMesh).\nInterest in or coursework related to:Space systems\nOpto-mechanical design\nPrecision structures\n\nBasic understanding of:Modal behavior\nVibration environments\nThermal effects on structures\n\nFamiliarity with Python or MATLAB for basic analysis or post-processing.\nPrior academic or hobby projects related to satellites, robotics, optics, or mechanisms.\nBasic understanding of Finite Element Method (FEM) concepts.\nComfortable with engineering drawings and dimensions.\nWillingness to learn, ask
