Reports to Maintenance Manager.\n\nKey Duties and Responsibilities\nPerform all duties safely, follow all safety guidelines, and actively participates in site safety programs.\nBecome LOTO Authorized and perform actions in accordance with LOTO training and policy.\nAssist with machine setups, installations and changeovers.\nPerform routine inspection, emergency/unscheduled repairs and preventive maintenance repairs of production equipment.\nRead and interpret blueprints, equipment/repair manuals, parts catalogs and work orders.\nAbility to diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments to company assets/machines.\nPerform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.\nFamiliarity with and ability to use a variety of hand and power tools in performing duties.\nProficient with pneumatics, hydraulics, and or electrical trouble shooting\nAbility to create minor fabrications and installation of parts as needed.\nAbility to create and complete Work Orders in computer programs (beginner level).\nPerform other duties as assigned as one develops into higher levels of the department.\nSuccessful Attributes:\nMust be willing and able to frequently stand, walk, push, pull, kneel, and reach\nAble to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable assistance\nMust demonstrate excellent job performance in safety, quality, productivity and attendance.\nTime management skills\nWilling to learn the process from the ground up and able to work in a team environment.\nExcellent Organizational and documentation skills\nOutgoing personality and good customer service skills\nMust be able to work well without supervision and within a team environment\nDisplay a positive and strong work ethic\nFlexible schedule with overtime\nEducation & Experience:\nMinimum of High School diploma or GED required\n3 to 5 years of experience in industrial/electrical maintenance required, preferably in food production manufacturing\nOther:\nBased in San Luis Obispo, CA\n\nWhat is in it for you?\nOur company acknowledges talented people are attracted to companies that provide competitive pay, comprehensive benefits packages and outstanding advancement opportunities.
