Included in overall duties is the ability to ensure employees effectively operate food production machines in an efficient and safe manner. This position requires good communication (Bilingual Preferred) and coordination skills to work with production, HR manager and Operation Managers to assess the workforce abilities to safely perform tasks proficiently.\n\nKey Duties and Responsibilities\nMaintain and improve Sauer Brands manufacturing processes through training of the work force to be more proficient and efficient in work duties.\nTrain employees in operating machines proficiently and safely.\nImplement and ensure standard work is being conducted throughout the manufacturing process.\nConduct initial training/retraining as necessary to ensure proper SQF and safety procedures are being followed.\nCollaborate closely with supervisors to develop training/cross training plans to minimize gaps in employee development and machine downtime.\nProvides assessment and feedback to supervisors and human resources on employee progression and development as needed.\nPlays an integral part in Pay-for-Skills development program by confirming skills for next level are met and at a proficient enough level for employee to be considered fully trained.\nRegular attendance is an essential part of this function.\nAdhere to all safety, operating, AIB, and GMP procedures. Notify management of any potentially dangerous safety hazards.\nTrain co-workers in operation of systems and procedures as directed.\nAdhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP's) \nNew Hire onboarding.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nWhat We Are Looking For: Characteristics, skills, experience, education, and performance history needed for success in the position:\nBilingual English Spanish preferred\nPrior machine operator experience required.\nProven record of prior training and leadership abilities.\nGood interpersonal skills with “can do” attitude.\nMust have strong organizational, communication and assessment skills.\nAssociate degree preferred or equivalent combination of High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and experience. \nRegularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. \nRegularly lift and or move up to 30 pounds\nRead and interpret documents; create training documents and maintain training records.\nMust be able to accurately perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division functions as required for efficient materials management and production.\nFamiliar with Microsoft suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.\n\nWhat Is In It For You?
