Assemble ingredients per batch sheet onto pallets along with pails and\ntimely completion of all required production documentation. Included in overall duties is to take samples, record and report accurate measurements and counts, transfer ingredients, as well as maintain safe and sanitary conditions throughout plant. Requires close communication and coordination with production supervisor, process operators, scheduling, quality assurance, maintenance, and warehousing.\n\nKey Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nThe essential functions of this position include but are not limited to the following:\nAble to accurately weigh (scale) proper ingredients into pails (20# -100#)\nAble to operate control systems to draw ingredients for weighing.\nAble to read and understand production schedules, mixing formulations, various product labels, ingredient contents and proportions.\nAble to follow safe work habits regarding lifting and material safety.\nSafely operate pallet jack and walk-behind forklift to move materials.\nCommunicate clearly with others in support positions.\nTake the initiative to organize and accurately perform all job functions required to meet volume and quality of product scheduled.\nTake action necessary to insure continuous product flow.\nCommunicate clearly with others in process and support positions.\nComplete required production pick plans.\nRegular attendance is an essential part of this function.\nAccurately transfer ingredients.\nCoordinate area cleaning so that work is done efficiently and correctly.\nFollow and adhere to safety, operating, SQF, and GMP procedures \nOther functions as required.\nManagement retains the discretion to change these duties at any time without notification.\n\nWhat’s in it for you:\n10 Paid Holidays\nMed/Dental/Vision after 30 days\n401 Match after 90 days\nAccrued Vacation\nFree Uniform Service\nSteel Boot Reimbursement Program\n\nThe Ideal Candidate Will have:\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nKnowledge of formulation processes in a manufacturing environment a plus.\n\nSuccessful Attributes:\nInitiative to organize and accurately perform all job functions. \nAbility to effectively work at line speeds in accordance with company production standards.\nCurious, with desire to continuously learn and to support continuous improvement.\nPossesses a strong attention to detail.\nSelf-starter with the capacity to work with minimal supervision as well as work as part of a team.\nCan easily adapt to change in the work environment.\n\nPhysical Attributes:\nRegularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. \nRegularly lift and or move up to 50 pounds.\nRead and interpret documents.\nMust be able to accurately perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division functions as required for efficient materials management and production. \nRead and interpret documents.\n\n Sauer Brands, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
