Join our team #MissionWater.\nJob Summary\nThe Operations and Maintenance Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining an industrial client’s facilities in compliance with contractual obligations. The Operations and Maintenance Technician ensures the proper functioning of equipment, adherence to safety regulations, and optimization of installation performance.Your Main Responsabilities\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nEnsure that you work and operate the plant in a safe manner and highlight any safety related concerns.\nComply with NSI and customer HSE policies and systems.\nEnsure no harm to the environment.\nEfficient use of chemicals for the WTP process.\nMonitor Plant performance to ensure correct operation.\nMonitor performance of individual process units to assess when operational maintenance is required.\nCheck inventory of operational consumables (e.g. chemicals, filters etc.) and request re-order as required;\nPrepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements for non-routine work on the company’s HSE management system.\nDevelop strong relationships with clients operational staff.\nAdvise customer/Team Leader of changes in plant status that could impact on operations.\nAttend shift handover and commit to effective handover process.\nLook for better ways of doing things, take up the innovation challenge.\nMonitor plant performance and react to any changes that may affect compliance with KPIs and specifications.\nEnsure adequate supply of consumables and chemicals at all times.\nEnsure plant availability is maximised.\nCarry out operational maintenance.\nReceive deliveries.\nEffectively communicate with colleagues;
