load planning, capacity management, and outage scheduling\n\nDevelop and maintain documentation related to processes, technical standards, and compliance requirements\n\nSupport feasibility studies for infrastructure upgrades and renewable energy integration\n\nAssist in energy trading support activities (e.g., process modelling, pricing simulations, reporting)\n\nRequirements\nBachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field\n\nCertification in ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa) or equivalent\n\n8+ years of engineering experience in the power, utilities, or energy sectors\n\nSolid understanding of generation systems, grid operations, or energy trading workflows\n\nFamiliarity with SCADA, PLC/DCS, and digital monitoring platforms is advantageous\n\nSkilled in using data analysis and modeling tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB, Excel, Power BI)\n\nExperience working in regulated environments with a focus on safety, compliance, and
