This position involves conducting various tests, analyses, and inspections to ensure products meet regulatory standards and internal quality benchmarks. The Executive QC will also support continuous improvement initiatives within the QC department.\nKey Responsibilities:\nQuality Testing and Analysis:\nConduct routine and non-routine chemical, physical, and microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.\nPerform stability testing and validation studies as required.\nUtilize advanced analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-VIS spectrophotometers, and others.\nDocumentation and Compliance:\nMaintain accurate and detailed records of all testing and inspections performed.\nEnsure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and other relevant regulatory standards.\nPrepare and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and test methods.\nInspection and Audits:\nConduct internal audits and participate in external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.\nInspect incoming raw materials and packaging materials to verify conformance to specifications.\nInvestigate and resolve quality issues, including out-of-specification results and deviations.\nContinuous Improvement:\nIdentify areas for improvement within the QC processes and suggest enhancements.\nParticipate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).\nTraining and Development:\nTrain and mentor junior QC staff on testing procedures, equipment use, and regulatory requirements.\nStay updated with the latest advancements in QC techniques and industry trends.\nCross-Functional Collaboration:\nCollaborate with production, R&D, regulatory affairs, and other departments to ensure seamless quality control processes.\nSupport new product development by providing QC expertise and conducting necessary tests.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Microbiology, or a related field.\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in Quality Control within the pharmaceutical industry.\nProficiency in using analytical instruments and software (e.g., LIMS).\nStrong understanding of GMP, GLP, and other regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA).\nExcellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with advanced analytical techniques and method development.\nCertification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001).\nKnowledge of current industry trends and best practices.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to work in a laboratory setting with exposure to chemicals and pharmaceutical compounds.\nAbility to lift and move equipment and materials as necessary.\nWorking Conditions:\nPrimarily a laboratory environment, with some exposure to manufacturing areas.\nOccasional travel may be required for training and
