This role will own and improve the Savant’s user-facing surfaces. You’ll turn complex clinical-research workflows into interfaces that feel legible, fast, and trustworthy, while also contributing to the services and systems behind them.\nYou’ll have substantial ownership of frontend architecture, interaction patterns, and product polish.\nSavant is based in NYC, and this role is remote-eligible. Preference will be given to candidates able to come to work in NYC.\nSome Things You Might Work On\nTurn complex technical and clinical workflows into clear, approachable product experiences\nDevelop reusable frontend components and establish consistent interaction patterns across the product\nImprove application responsiveness, accessibility, reliability, and perceived performance\nDesign stateful and asynchronous workflows using Cloudflare Workers, Durable Objects, queues, and related patterns\nBuild and extend APIs and backend services that support product functionality\nImplement real-time progress, background-job, notification, and collaboration experiences\nImprove frontend testing, observability, release processes, and error handling\nParticipate in customer feedback sessions and use what you learn to improve the product\nHelp define a high bar for product quality, usability, and visual polish\nWhat We’re Looking For\n3+ years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent evidence of strong production work\nStrong TypeScript, HTML, and CSS skills\nStrong product judgment, attention to the details, and excellent taste\nExperience building modern, component-based web applications\nWorking knowledge of APIs, backend services, data persistence, and asynchronous application patterns\nBonus Points For\nExperience with React or another modern frontend framework\nExperience with Cloudflare Workers, Durable Objects, edge runtimes, or serverless application patterns\nBackend experience with Python, SQL, or relational databases\nExperience with healthcare, scientific, or other sensitive and data-intensive products\nExperience in an early-stage startup or small, fast-moving product team\nWhy Join Us\nVisible Ownership: Shape the primary interfaces through which customers experience Savant\nProduct Influence: Help define not only how features are built, but how they should work\nFull-Stack Growth: Go deep on frontend development while expanding into services and distributed systems\nClose Collaboration: Work directly with product, clinical, AI, and backend partners\n Mission-Driven Work: Make sophisticated clinical-data technology genuinely useful to the people who depend on it\nBase salary for this role will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market conditions. The expected base salary for the role will generally be between $150,000 to $200,000 per year, with meaningful equity.
