{"id":1106195,"url":"https://alion.io/job/save-the-children-consultancy-needed-procurement-support","title":"Consultancy Needed - Procurement Support","company":{"id":723176,"name":"Save the Children International","domain":"savethechildren.net","url":"https://alion.io/company/save-the-children","size_band":"5000+","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"Oracle","truth_index":{"grade":"B","score":83,"open_postings":9,"ghost_share":0,"stale_share":0.889,"repost_share":0,"time_to_fill_p50_days":13,"computed_at":"2026-10-01T05:45:00Z"}},"role":"Operations","role_family":"Operations","seniority":null,"employment_type":null,"work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Indonesia"],"countries":["ID"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":null,"experience_years_min":null,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[{"name":"Microsoft Office","optional":false}],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-09-22T03:48:59Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-09-22","last_verified_at":"2026-10-01T14:28:09Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":9,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":9},"description":"Scope of Work\nObjective:\nTo support and accelerate procurement spending for Save the Children Indonesia’s agriculture portfolio programs through timely, compliant, and well-documented procurement processes.\nKey Responsibilities:\nThe Procurement Support will:\nManage and support procurement activities for agriculture portfolio programs, from procurement planning, sourcing, evaluation, contracting, and purchase order follow up. \nReview procurement requests and ensure specifications, scopes of work, budgets, and supporting documents are complete. \nPrepare RFQs/RFPs, bid comparison documents, evaluation records, and other procurement documentation. \nConduct supplier sourcing and market research, particularly for agriculture-related goods and services. \nCoordinate supplier registration, due diligence, and required compliance documentation. \nCoordinate with program teams, field offices, Finance, and other relevant functions to ensure timely procurement delivery. \nMonitor procurement timelines, supplier performance, outstanding orders, and contractual commitments. \nMaintain complete and accurate procurement records and trackers in accordance with organizational procedures. \nSupport procurement reporting, audit preparation, and other Supply Chain activities as required. \nTravel to field locations when required to support procurement activities, supplier assessments, market surveys, delivery follow-up, or program implementation.\nExpected Deliverables:\nProcurement requests are processed accurately and within agreed timelines. \nComplete and compliant sourcing and procurement documentation maintained. \nPurchase orders, contracts, and related documents prepared and issued on time. \nProcurement trackers and status reports kept accurate and up to date. \nSupplier quotations, evaluations, and selection of records properly documented. \nTimely coordination with requesters, suppliers, Finance, and relevant stakeholders. \nProcurement activities completed in line with organizational policies, donor requirements, and applicable controls.\nQualifications and Experience:\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Agriculture, or related field. \nRelevant experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations. \nExperience supporting agriculture, livelihood, or development programs is an advantage. \nGood understanding of competitive procurement processes and supplier management. \nStrong organizational, documentation, and analytical skills. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. \nGood written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English. \nAbility to work independently, manage multiple procurement activities, and coordinate with different stakeholders. \nWillingness and ability to travel to field locations as required. \nHigh integrity and commitment to compliance and ethical procurement practices.\nWorking Arrangement:\nThis assignment is expected to be full-time for six (6) months from 1 October 2026 -
