The candidate will be supporting Infrastructure and Operations services, with a focus on cloud technologies. \nResponsibilities\nWork with business and technology partners to understand needs from the client perspective\nDrive technology discussions and facilitate decision with other teams within the organization\nCollaborate cross-functionally to develop our target state cloud platform and infrastructure\nGather technical requirements, assess capabilities, and analyze findings to provide appropriate cloud platform solution recommendations and adoption strategy\nBuild and deploy efficient solutions that improve efficiencies and add value to the business\nDevelop creative and efficient solutions for migration to cloud environments\nBuild technology solutions, including the process, integrations, and automation\nAutomate testing and execution of playbook actions\nIdentify and execute on opportunities to automate and simplify lifecycle management\nImplement best-practice standards that will be leveraged by business units to streamline and simplify cloud platform operations\nOperate and maintain cloud-based solutions to ensure high performance and reliability\nMaintain operational processes, guidelines, and standards that facilitate robust, scalable, cost-effective, and innovative services\nParticipate in risk identification within the technical architecture in partnership with security teams\nEnsure alerts and events are flowing across various cloud-based services and partners\nNormal business hours and some after-hours/on-call responsibilities\nSupport projects and initiatives to deliver on strategic goals, including building automation to improve efficiencies\nWork closely with agile teams to prioritize the implementation of user stories while balancing priorities, ensuring continuous delivery or business value\nTrack time and complete assignments on schedule\nBuild, maintain, and promote strong technical documentation\nKeep abreast of and gain expertise in the evolving technology and understand how new technologies could be applied to our Cloud platform offerings\nMaintain an operational dashboard to track and report on the health of IT systems, including alignment or impact to business services\nExecutes POCs and feasibility studies to validate next-gen product concepts, technologies, and services leveraging results to guide business and technology decisions\nResearch, test, and understand the relevant products and product capability\nParticipate in the vendor community on relevant products and product capability\nAbout You\nAssociate's degree in information systems, or related field, OR at least 1+ years of applicable experience \nExperience with Windows Server and/or Linux distributions, Windows Server 2012 or above, Linux distributions (Red Hat-based or Debian-based)\nGeneral understanding of infrastructure as code and with knowledge in a couple of the following tools:\nPowerShell\nJSON\nPython\nAzure CLI\nAWS CLI\nTerraform\nPowerCLI\nJavascript\nOAuth, webhooks, and REST API\nA general understanding of SNMP, Syslog, RMON, and other messaging and agent facilities\nExperience supporting cloud-native applications in an agile manner using DevOps concepts and principles\nGeneral Understanding of Group Policy maintenance\nSome Experience maintaining Active Directory\nBasic networking skills used in troubleshooting client issues\n\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to travel up to ~10% of the time, which may include weekends and evenings, as needed\nMost work is performed in a temperature-controlled environment\nIncumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal\nIncumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone and other office equipment in the course of a normal workday\nStooping, bending, twisting and reaching may be required in completion of job
