This position provides transitioning Service Members with structured, hands-on exposure to corporate finance practices and financial systems while supporting real-world business initiatives.\nThe Financial Analyst Intern will work closely with members of the Finance, Payroll, and Human Resources teams to develop analytical, technical, and business skills. Through structured training and mentorship, the participant will gain experience using financial software, preparing reports, analyzing financial data, monitoring budgets, and supporting business decision-making processes.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nDemonstrates the ability to work in accordance with the SaviLinx Guiding Principles. \nSupports the Finance team with financial analysis, reporting, and administrative activities. \nAssists with payroll auditing, payroll reporting, and payroll reconciliation activities. \nLearns workforce management and HRIS functions using UKG. \nSupports the preparation and maintenance of financial reports and dashboards. \nAssists with gathering, validating, and analyzing financial and operational data. \nParticipates in budgeting and forecasting activities. \nLearns labor forecasting and financial planning principles. \nAssists with budget-to-actual variance analysis and management reporting. \nLearns invoicing processes, revenue tracking, and accounts receivable functions. \nDevelops proficiency using financial systems, including NetSuite and UKG. \nAssists with financial statement review and analysis. \nSupports special projects related to finance, payroll, and business operations. \nParticipates in Finance team meetings and cross-functional business discussions. \nMaintains the confidentiality of sensitive financial and employee information. \nCompletes assigned training modules, project work, and professional development activities. \nPerforms other duties as assigned. \nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:\nThis position has no supervisory responsibility.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nService Member approved for participation in the DoD SkillBridge Program.\nHigh school degree or equivalent required.\nProficiency with multiple technologies, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams) and the ability to quickly learn new systems.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nEXPECTED WORKDAYS/HOURS:\nUpon successful completion of the internship, participants will gain practical experience in:\nPayroll administration, auditing, and reporting \nHuman Resource Information Systems (HRIS) \nUKG workforce management software \nNetSuite financial management software \nBudget development and monitoring \nFinancial forecasting and planning \nFinancial statement analysis \nVariance analysis and management reporting \nInvoicing and revenue management \nBusiness analytics and corporate finance operations \nEXPECTED WORKDAYS/HOURS:\nExpected workdays/hours are not greater than 40 hours.\nOTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED:\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
