Savvy is reinventing what it looks like to be a financial advisor. Founder Ritik Malhotra saw the fragmentation firsthand after seeking out his own advisor, and started Savvy to give independent advisors a modern, AI-native home.\nSavvy is a registered investment advisor (RIA), and we partner with experienced financial advisors who want to grow without running the back office themselves. Advisors bring their book and join Savvy, running under their own brand (or ours), and Savvy earns a percentage of the assets they manage. In return, they get a true business-in-a-box: a proprietary tech platform and client portal, an in-house marketing team that helps them grow, a world-class investment management team, and a dedicated client services team that runs day-to-day operations and support. Advisors at Savvy service up to 50% more households and save 19 hours a week.\nAI runs through everything we do. On the product side, Savvy Intelligence (released April 2026) is the only AI built for wealth managers that can see a client's complete financial picture. Internally, everyone at Savvy uses Claude and is encouraged to experiment with it, backed by a dedicated AI enablement team and a RevOps org building agents in-house.\nThe trajectory is steep and it's still early. We're a Series C company with 170+ people, $200M raised, and $100M ARR in sight this year. Inc. ranked us the No. 1 fastest-growing financial services company in America in 2026. Come build the next stage with us!\nRecognition:\nWe're a Certified Great Place to Work and have been honored for our culture and our growth:\nNewsweek's America's Greatest Startup Workplaces (2026)\n\nFortune Best Workplaces in New York™ (2026)\n\nGreat Place to Work Certified™ \n\nThe Role:\nSavvy partners with independent financial advisors who move their practices onto our platform. A core part of that partnership is how we pay them. Every advisor has a negotiated economic arrangement with Savvy, and turning those arrangements into accurate, on-time monthly payments is its own operational discipline.\nWe are looking for a Compensation Operations Manager to own that discipline end to end. We pay over 100 advisors, and each payment is the output of a calculation that pulls from upstream sources across the company. The Head of Finance has owned this since the beginning; it now needs a dedicated owner and you will be the first person in this seat. You will inherit a working and roughly automated process, make it more accurate and more scalable.\nThis is an operator role. You will sit in Finance and report to our Head of Finance, but you will spend most of your week working with our advisory operations, trading, billing, and post-sales teams, and speaking directly with advisors. Success means advisors trust their payout statements, and every question about advisor pay has one clear owner.\nResponsibilities\nRun the monthly advisor payout cycle\nOwn the monthly payout process end to end for individual advisors and for advisor teams, including edge cases where a team is paid as a single entity and cases where payments are coordinated across several individuals.\n\nBuild each payout from that advisor's contract terms from gross to net payout. Advisors can purchase additional services or products for fees that we net from payouts.\n\nReconcile every payout before funds move. Investigate discrepancies regardless of size, and stand behind the numbers you send.\n\nOwn the broader advisor money stack\nAdminister the advisor loan program, including balances, repayment schedules, and offsets against payouts.\n\nBuild and run the process for equity distributions to advisors under their agreements.\n\nManage corporate card budgets and expense oversight for advisors.\n\nTriage payroll escalations from advisors and drive them to resolution with the right internal owners.\n\nOwn advisor platform-fee invoicing and collections.\n\nTrack incoming deposits from third-party insurance and annuity partners and map them to the advisors.\n\nBuild the function\nDocument every process you inherit or create, and turn one-off judgment calls into repeatable procedures.\n\nIdentify and close control gaps before they become advisor-facing errors.\n\nPartner with Data and Engineering over time to move this work off spreadsheets and into systems.\n\nMust have:\n5+ years in operations, payroll, commissions, revenue operations, or business operations, in a role where you personally owned a recurring monthly process with money at the end of it.\n\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel. This is a hard requirement. You will build and audit multi-input calculations and should be comfortable with lookups, nested logic, and pivot tables without working from a template.\n\nExceptional attention to detail and a low tolerance for unexplained variances, including small ones.\n\nComfort chasing information across an organization. Most of the context you need lives on other teams, and getting it is part of the job.\n\nStrong written communication. You will explain compensation calculations to people whose income depends on them.\n\nWorking fluency with AI tools and the judgment to know where they help and where they do not. We expect this role to use AI heavily, but every dollar that leaves the company is a human decision.\n\nNice to have:\nExperience in wealth management, financial services, or fintech, particularly with advisor, broker, or producer compensation.\n\nExperience with commissions or incentive compensation where terms are negotiated individually rather than standardized.\n\nExperience with Stripe, corporate card platforms, or payroll systems.\n\nExperience as the first person in a role, building the process behind it rather than inheriting one.\n\nAdditional Information:\nSavvy Wealth is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to fostering an inclusive work environment that values diversity and individual contributions.\nBenefits:\nCompetitive salary and equity package\n\nWe offer a generous relocation package to help top talent make the move to our NYC office\n\nUnlimited PTO + paid company holidays\n\nAccess to holistic medical, dental, and vision plans\n\nCompany 401(k) (including Mega backdoor Roth options), Commuter, and HSA/FSA plans\n\nNYC office in Union Square\n\nLunch and snacks provided in the office, & dinner if you stay late\n\nAccess to virtual mental health care (Spring Health) and health concierge (Rightway) to help you find the right care\n\nAccess to counseling for stress management, dependent care, nutrition, fitness, legal, and financial issues (Guardian WorkLifeMatters EAP)","description_format":"text","description_chars":6737,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Equity","Unlimited PTO"],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United States","iso":"US","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":true,"industries":["Wealth Management & Financial Advisors","Financial Software & Embedded Finance"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-09T01:28:03Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"US","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"H-1B filings in 12 months: 2","filings_12m":2,"filings_prev_12m":1,"green_card_filings_12m":0,"median_offered_wage_usd":187500,"route":null,"cap_exempt":false,"checked_at":"2026-10-15T11:24:14+00:00","sources":["US Department of Labor: LCA disclosure data (H-1B, H-1B1, E-3)"],"filings_for_role_12m":0}],"liveness":{"score":86,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.86,"p_room":1,"age_days":6,"expected_fill_days":22,"reasons":["conf:1","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-10-15T05:46:00Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":200000,"is_top_pay":true},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/savvy-wealth-compensation-operations-manager","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/savvy-wealth-compensation-operations-manager.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-16T03:07:35Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":4775,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-17T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":4686},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=4686"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fsavvy-wealth-compensation-operations-manager"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fsavvy-wealth-compensation-operations-manager"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fsavvy-wealth-compensation-operations-manager"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/savvy-wealth-compensation-operations-manager\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fsavvy-wealth-compensation-operations-manager"}]}
