Your work will enable engineering teams to better understand, monitor, and improve the systems that power Saxo.\nTeam perspective\n\"We are the eyes and ears of Saxo Bank's platform health. Our work is critical to maintaining stable and continuous operations across the organisation.\nOur team is based in Denmark and India and consists of five specialists. While supporting our current platforms, we are also executing our roadmap for the next generation of observability capabilities.\"\nResponsibilities\nOwn and support the day-to-day operation of Saxo's observability platform.\nPartner closely with engineering teams to deliver meaningful monitoring and visibility across business-critical systems.\nDrive priorities, technical direction, and platform improvements within the team.\nAct as the observability platform architect, ensuring scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability.\nPlay a key role in delivering the next generation of Saxo's observability platform in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture, platform teams, and business stakeholders.\nWhat success looks like\nBuild expertise across our observability ecosystem, including Elastic, Grafana, Kibana, Kubernetes, SCOM, and Windows Server.\nImprove visibility, reliability, and operational efficiency by reducing alert noise, enhancing dashboards, and driving actionable insights.\nDefine and promote standards for logging, metrics, dashboards, and alerting.\nCollaborate with engineering, platform, and security teams to ensure observability is embedded across solutions.\nLead incident investigations, contribute to post-mortems, and turn lessons learned into platform improvements.\nOptimise platform performance, scalability, and cost.\nShare knowledge through documentation, best practices, and technical guidance across the organisation.\nYour profile\nYou have 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or a similar role, with a strong focus on observability.\nYou bring hands-on experience with observability technologies such as:\nMetrics: Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic, or similar.\nLogging: Elastic Stack, Splunk, Loki, Cloud Logging, or similar.\n Tracing: OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, Zipkin, X-Ray, or equivalent tracing solutions.\nYou also have experience with:\nSRE practices, including SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and incident management.\nDistributed systems and cloud-native architectures.\nOperating and optimising Elastic Stack in production environments.\nGrafana and Kibana for dashboarding, visualisation, and alerting.\nWindows Server administration and monitoring, ideally including SCOM.\nPublic cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.\nKubernetes, Docker, and container-based environments.\nInfrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD tooling (Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation, Pulumi, GitOps, etc.).\nScripting or development experience in languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.\nWe get curious people invested in the world\nWhen you work at Saxo, you become a Saxonian and part of a purpose-driven organisation, where good ideas are always taken seriously, and where you can make a true impact.
