The opportunity now is to join a rocketship as we prepare for the next stage of growth, and an eventual public listing.\nThis role is onsite 5 days a week in Houston, TX\nAbout the Role\nAs a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for growing the regional sales and revenue of the local marketplace. In order to do so, you will be procuring famous/popular local restaurants, bakeries and other food providers, reaching out to potential partners, closing the deal and onboard them. You are starting at an exciting time while having the opportunity to build on the momentum and work with cross-functional teams and our global team.\nResponsibilities\nResearch, establish relationships and engage with local restaurants and bakeries to enhance the local marketplace assortment.\nOwn and drive GMV growth in your region.\nIdentify business challenges, implement strategies to expand vendor partnerships, and grow revenue.\nContinuously identify strategies to expand the vendor base and grow business revenue.\nCollaborate with BD manager and vendors to develop effective promotions, and take initiatives on operational improvements. \nGuide vendors in ensuring product listing accuracy on Weee’s platform\nGather feedback from vendors and effectively communicate to the BD manager, technology, product, and customer service teams to improve the platform and address concerns.\nPartner with the marketing team to create compelling promotional banners and content.\nPartner with the local operations team to ensure smooth daily activities.\nQualifications\nCustomer focused with a sales driven mindset\nAdapt to new situations quickly and think on your feet\nSkilled at motivating potential partners to see the benefits Weee!’s local marketplace platform\nSales experience in a fast-paced or startup environment preferred\nBilingual proficiency in Chinese and English preferred, to effectively communicate with vendor communities.\nBenefits\nComprehensive health insurance package, including medical, dental, and vision.
