The opportunity now is to join a rocketship as we prepare for the next stage of growth, and an eventual public listing.\nThis role is onsite 5 days a week in Houston, TX\nAbout the Role\nAs a Business Development Manager, you will lead efforts for growing the regional sales and revenue of the local marketplace in your region. This role encompasses overseeing vendor partnerships, driving revenue growth, and managing operations to ensure exceptional experiences for vendors and customers. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the local business strategy, managing the P&L, mentoring the BDAs and fostering collaboration across different teams to drive sales goals.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and execute strategies to expand the local marketplace and drive GMV growth in your region.\nManage the regional P&L, ensuring financial and operational success.\nIdentify market opportunities and pain points, and design solutions to expand revenue.\nOversee and support Business Development Associates to ensure seamless vendor onboarding, vendor satisfaction, and performance alignment.\nPartner with the local operations team to ensure smooth daily activities. \nWork with vendors and cross-functional teams to deliver a best-in-class user experience. Collaborate with operations, marketing, product, and tech teams to enhance customer satisfaction.\nCollect vendor and customer feedback, address emergency issues, and provide actionable insights to internal teams to continuously improve operations and platform functionality.\nAnalyze dashboards, track key performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement\nQualifications\nProven experience in business development, operations management or supply chain management in food services or e-commerce strongly preferred\nAnalytical and strategic thinking to manage P&L and identify growth opportunities.\nStrong leadership skills, with the ability to drive results and manage cross-functional teams.\nCustomer focused with a sales driven mindset\nFlexibility to adapt quickly to new challenges and dynamic environments.\nBilingual proficiency in Chinese and English preferred, to effectively communicate with vendor communities.\nBenefits\nComprehensive health insurance package, including medical, dental, and vision.
