The opportunity now is to join a rocketship as we prepare for the next stage of growth, and an eventual public listing.\nThis role is onsite 5 days a week in Clifton, NJ\nAbout the Role\nThe Senior Operations Manager will oversee our flagship New Jersey operation, which is the company’s largest by volume and revenue. This is a high-stakes leadership role responsible for two distinct facilities.\nResponsibilities\nOperations & Growth\nLead warehouse operations across inbound, outbound, inventory, and quality control\nOptimize performance metrics and workflows to support rapid scaling\nMake data-driven decisions to identify and solve operational bottlenecks\nPlan labor needs and manage capacity during peak periods\nLeadership & Team Building\nRecruit, coach, and develop supervisors, leads, and warehouse associates\nProvide hands-on floor leadership to build high-performing teams\nSchedule and assign employees while maintaining accountability for results\nCreate urgency and followership across all warehouse teams\nSystems & Process\nMaster Weee!'s operational systems, SOPs, and key performance metrics\nManage inventory accuracy through physical counts and system reconciliation\nPlan warehouse layouts, equipment maintenance, and operational improvements\nLeverage WMS and productivity systems to drive performance insights\nCompliance & Safety\nEnsure compliance with warehousing, shipping, and OSHA safety requirements\nEstablish security procedures and safety protocols\nMaintain flexible shift coverage for continuous operations\nProfit & Loss Management\nManage operating costs including daily supplies (office/warehouse/janitorial), packaging materials, and equipment repairs\nAnalyze cost variances and implement corrective actions\nDrive cost-efficient operations while maintaining quality standards\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or equivalent experience\n15+ years warehouse/fulfillment experience in high-volume or fast paced environments\n10+ years in a supervisory or management role\nExperience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)\nStrong understanding of inventory control and cycle counting processes\nDemonstrated success in reducing labor costs or improving productivity metrics\nFamiliarity with labor planning, scheduling and workforce optimization\nAdvanced Excel skills and strong computer proficiency\nKnowledge of health and safety regulations (OSHA)\nPreferred Skills\nBilingual in English and Spanish\nFlexibility to work varied schedules\nSix Sigma Certification\nFood Safety Certification\nOSHA Certification\nProject Management Certification\nBenefits\nComprehensive health insurance package, including medical, dental, and vision.
