Whether you’re a recent graduate or an experienced professional, Sazerac provides extraordinary opportunities for growth with competitive salaries and benefits in an exciting, entrepreneurial industry.\nJob Description/Responsibilities\nAs a Production Technician at Northwest Ordinance Distilling (located in New Albany, IN), you will be responsible for operating bottling equipment, monitoring production processes, ensuring product quality, performing maintenance tasks, and maintaining cleanliness of the bottling area. This role will work in small teams were relationships and teamwork help drive the success of the facility. We operate 24/7, primarily producing and bottling Fireball Cinnamon Whisky and other famous spirit brands, such 99 Brand, Parrot Bay, and Southern Comfort.\nWhat You'll Do:\nUnderstand and adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures and best practices to ensure quality standards and performance metrics are met\nPerform equipment set-up, lubrication, changeover, and troubleshoot equipment issues.\nOperate industrial equipment such as a Forklift. We will train you and certify you on the Forklift.\nShift: AWS 2-2-3 (Rotating 2-2-3 schedule. 3 day weekend every other week.\nHours: 6:45pm-7am\nQualifications/Requirements\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent\nGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for operating machinery\nStrong communication and teamwork skills\nDetail oriented and demonstrated ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to pick up and/or move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance\nAbility to work on your feet (12 hour shifts), climbing stairs and ladders, bending, kneeling and squatting\nAbility to work in environments with high noise levels and humid conditions (non-weather)\nCulture and Benefits\nSazerac offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid time off, and more.
