This position leads all sanitation activities across the facility, including equipment, building, and process cleaning, while driving continuous improvement in sanitation practices. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on product quality, food safety, and operational excellence in a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead and oversee all plant sanitation activities, including cleaning of equipment, machinery, and facility areas\nDevelop, implement, and maintain sanitation procedures, tracking systems, and validation processes\nTrain and coach team members on sanitation standards, safety protocols, and proper cleaning techniques\nMonitor GMPs, housekeeping, and sanitation compliance across the facility\nManage sanitation supplies and chemicals, while coordinating sanitation efforts with cross-functional teams\nQualifications/Requirements\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related scientific field\n3+ years of sanitation experience within a food or beverage manufacturing environment\nStrong communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment\nPreferred:\nFood safety certification or experience with global food safety standards (HACCP, ISO, etc.)\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies\nExperience in alcohol beverage or broader CPG manufacturing environments\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds without assistance\nAbility to work an 8-hour shift and overtime as needed\nAbility to stand, move throughout the facility, and maintain attention to detail in a production environment\nCulture and Benefits\nSazerac offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid time off, and more.
