We are building the energy and infrastructure future-today.\nCome join us in accelerating the energy and infrastructure transition!\nBasic Function\nSB Energy is looking for a Project Manager to lead and drive success on new and ongoing, medium-to-large-sized construction capital projects including Data Centers. The position covers all aspects of a construction project. This will be an on-site role, five days per week, requiring at least five years of hyperscale or colocation-provider data center experience.Areas of expertise require autonomy and independent discretion in the following areas:\nRFP development and overall project budgeting.\nPre-bid planning, oversight and coordination.\nLead multiple projects/deliverables.\nLeading all design phases and documents working internally with stakeholder groups and SME’s.\nCustomer engagement for sales and fulfillment of project requirements.\nCoordination and supervision of design-build, and design bid build contractors.\nOversight of physical construction activities on site.\nCoordination and logistical planning for all OFCI equipment.\nLeading commissioning of critical systems integration across new data centers.\nHand-off of physical data center and project documents to operations.\nManagement in prime contractor safety performance.\nManagement of project scope, safety, schedule, stakeholder, and budget.\nDrive all aspects of construction including pre-construction, design development, permitting and entitlements, competitive bid process, team selection, construction oversight, commissioning, and project closeout.\nCultivate ability to build business cases and bring projects from concept through internal project approval.\nImplement project quality controls and safety programs through an in-depth understanding of the partner contracts and design documents.\nLead the SB Energy site safety program and provide weekly HRA site walk reports. Two (2) HRA site walks are required per week to provide accurate safety metrics to the SB Energy EH&S department.\nTranslate job requirements to execution with minimal supervision.\nBe a leader and mentor to SB Energy team members.\nResponsibilities\nCollaborate with design team, contractors, operations teams and clients.\nSubmit monthly project financial reporting including forecasting, cash-flow, etc.\nReview monthly contractor billing and perform job walks to substantiate progress.\nDevelop, lead, maintain, and assist with contract negotiation of new and existing vendors.\nLead input and delivery of work products from internal team members to ensure that new data center spaces align with the project requirements, customer requirements, all engineering standards, applicable codes, and specifications.\nDevelop, document, and drive lessons learned, process improvements, cost, and schedule savings initiatives throughout the project lifecycle process.\nWork closely with the Operations to coordinate design criteria with budgetary issues and ongoing maintenance and operation of existing facilities\nPerform and or supervise weekly safety walks to ensure contractors are following SB Energy EHS policies.\nAwareness of the importance of mission-critical facility operation.\nAdditional duties as assigned from time to time by Management.\nQualifications/Requirements\nBachelors degree in Construction Management, similar field, or equivalent experience.\nMinimum of 7 years of experience in leading construction projects of increasing complexity required, 7-10 years preferred.\nMinimum 5 years of hyperscale or colocation-provider data center experience.\nMulti-prime or alternate procurement delivery experience is preferred.\nProcore, Cx Alloy, and P6 experience preferred.\nExperience in CSA (civil, structural, architectural) and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) construction management is a requirement.\nLocation: On-site near Temple, TX.\nBase Pay - $140,000 - $170,000\nThe pay range mentioned above is a guideline.
