Are you entrepreneurial, hard-working, and collegial? Join us at SB Energy, a leading infrastructure company backed by SoftBank Group and Ares Infrastructure, pairing cutting-edge innovation with best-in-class execution. Our mission is to deliver reliable and secure data center and power infrastructure to strengthen America's future.\nFounded in 2019, SB Energy is a SoftBank Group company headquartered in Redwood City, California. In 2026, SoftBank Group and OpenAI announced a $1 billion investment to support SB Energy as their leading development and execution partner for data center campuses, while Ares Infrastructure continues its long-standing support of the company's growth. SB Energy develops, builds, owns, and operates some of the largest and most technically advanced energy and data center infrastructure projects in the United States. Since its founding, the company has rapidly grown into a top-tier integrated platform with more than 3 gigawatts (GW) in operation and a multi-GW pipeline of energy and data center infrastructure nationwide.\nSB Energy also leverages a strong culture of innovation to identify and integrate new technologies into its projects, including its AI-based digital platform, delivering energy infrastructure that is local, reliable, and matched to load. We are building the energy and infrastructure future-today.\nCome join us in accelerating the energy and infrastructure transition!\nBasic Function\nSB Energy is seeking a Manager with deep industry experience to lead the technical program management for owner-furnished, contractor-installed (OFCI) power and cooling equipment. You will own the integrated execution schedule and the workflow for technical risks, decisions, dependencies, design evolution and changes across equipment packages. \nYou will collaborate with SB Energy’s clients, OEMs, and vendors to deliver reliable and fast solutions with the best total cost of ownership (TCO) through sound technical decisions, change management, risk management and value engineering programs, controlling avoidable design change, churn, delays and rework. From day one, you will make independent execution decisions within delegated authority and coordinate approved roadmap, multi-sourcing and other improvement initiatives. Eventually, you will build a team with sufficient program management capacity to deliver seamlessly across projects and equipment packages. \nIn this role, you will manage execution across multiple equipment packages and projects and lead a shared program supporting supplier readiness, approved product-roadmap releases, and multi-sourcing, fungibility and value engineering initiatives. Assignments may change as projects advance, workloads shift, and business priorities evolve. You will draw on cross-functional specialist support as needed. Across assignments, you will maintain clear program ownership, cross-train colleagues, and provide structured handoffs and backup coverage while respecting established technical, commercial, and functional accountabilities. \nThis role requires depth in technical program management for OFCI or comparable long-lead equipment, fluency in power and cooling systems, and flexibility to support business needs beyond your primary equipment or project assignment. The broader team will combine complementary electrical, mechanical, commercial, planning, and logistics strengths. You are not expected to be a specialist in every area, but you will build capability across the broader function and draw on specialist expertise to keep programs moving while ensuring decisions remain with the appropriate owners. \nResponsibilities\nEquipment coverage includes but is not limited to the categoriesbelow. \nPower equipment \nDistribution: MV/LV switchgear, ring main units, switchboards, panelboards, standalone motor-control centers/drivesand,powertransformers, distributiontransformers, and isolation transformers. \nBackupgenerationand stored power: generators and integral fuel, starting, andexhaust auxiliaries; paralleling gear; MV/LV UPS; batteries/BESS; chargers and DC power systems. \nTransfer and final distribution: ATS/STS, busway/busduct, power distribution units, remote power panels, rack PDUs, and power cables and terminations. \nPackaged power: electrical skids, e-houses, modular power blocks, and packaged substations downstream of the HV substation. \nProtection and monitoring: relays, metering, electrical power management systems, control panels, power-quality equipment, surge protection, grounding assemblies, and load banks. \nCooling equipment \nCooling and heat rejection: air- and water-cooled chillers, cooling towers, dry coolers, adiabatic/fluid coolers, and heat exchangers. \nAirside cooling: CRAH/CRAC units, air-handling units, fan walls, in-row cooling, and rear-door heat exchangers. \nLiquid cooling: coolant distribution units, direct-to-chip and immersion cooling packages, manifolds, cold plates, hoses, and quick disconnects. \nHydronics and water: pumps and integral drives, piping/valve skids, strainers, buffer/expansion/storage tanks, pressurization, makeup water, filtration, and water treatment. \nPackaged cooling: modular plants and cooling skids, integral controls, instrumentation, and leak detection. \nRole accountabilities \nLeadtechnical program management across multiple projectsand stakeholderswith clear program definitions, critical milestones, and business priorities. \nOwn the integrated technical execution schedule from supplier reviews and qualification through manufacturing readiness, testing, and acceptance.
