About The Role

Site Coordinator

Location: Eltham, SE9 - Candidate will need to be maximum 40 minutes away

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Hours: 09:00 - 17:00

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

SBFM is looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused Site Coordinator to join our team in Eltham.

This is a varied and fast-paced role where you’ll play an important part in keeping our sites running smoothly. You’ll manage an assigned portfolio of sites, working closely with employees, Area Managers, the Mobile Team and clients to ensure staffing, onboarding, training, attendance and day-to-day operational requirements are effectively managed.

You’ll need to be comfortable juggling multiple priorities, solving problems and communicating with a wide range of people. No two days are likely to be the same, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a busy, people-focused environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing an assigned portfolio of sites, keeping an overview of staffing, vacancies, attendance, training and operational requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate employee and site records across company systems and escalating any risks or unresolved issues where required.
  • Supporting recruitment activity, including advertising vacancies, reviewing applications, arranging and conducting interviews and progressing successful candidates.
  • Managing the onboarding process from start to finish, including right-to-work and visa checks in line with company procedures and legislation.
  • Coordinating new starter setup across HR, payroll, timekeeping and operational systems, ensuring employees understand their role, hours and site requirements.
  • Organising and monitoring training, working closely with employees, trainers, Area Managers and the Mobile Team to ensure mandatory training is completed.
  • Coordinating sickness and absence cover, ensuring shifts are appropriately covered and escalating any service risks.
  • Supporting formal employee meetings, including disciplinary hearings where appropriate, ensuring documentation and records are accurate and confidential.
  • Checking attendance and timekeeping information, investigating discrepancies and ensuring accurate payroll information is submitted within deadlines.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for employees, Area Managers, the Mobile Team and clients, responding to queries and providing clear and timely updates.
  • Escalating complaints, employee issues or operational concerns where appropriate and working collaboratively to find solutions.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A confident and professional communicator who can build positive relationships at all levels.
  • Accurate and detail-focused, with a strong eye for deadlines and administration.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with the confidence to take ownership and get things done.
  • Comfortable using computer systems and maintaining accurate records.
  • Calm under pressure and able to work independently while also being a strong team player.
  • Discreet and professional when handling confidential employee information.

Previous experience in recruitment, HR administration, employee relations, payroll, facilities, cleaning or workforce coordination would be advantageous, but we’re equally interested in someone with the right organisational skills, attitude and approach.

Why Join SBFM?

You’ll be joining a busy and supportive team in a role where your organisation, communication and problem-solving skills will have a direct impact on our people, clients and daily operations.

It’s a great opportunity to broaden your experience across recruitment, people and operational processes while working with a varied portfolio of sites and stakeholders.
