This is a hands-on role responsible for building and implementing procurement policies and procedures, selecting and rolling out supporting software/systems, and working closely with project teams to ensure purchasing supports project cost and schedule goals.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop, implement, and maintain procurement policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) across the organization.\nLead vendor sourcing, evaluation, and selection; negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.\nEvaluate, select, and implement procurement/purchasing software and systems to improve visibility, manage commitments and control over spend.\nManage the purchase requisition and purchase order process, ensuring proper approvals and documentation.\nBuild and maintain vendor relationships; monitor vendor performance, pricing, and compliance.\nPartner with project managers, estimators, and operations teams to align purchasing with project budgets and schedules.\nAnalyze spend and identify opportunities for cost savings and consolidated purchasing across projects and the overhead spend.\nEnsure procurement activities comply with company policy, contract requirements, and applicable regulations.\nTrack and report on procurement performance, savings, and vendor metrics.\nQualifications & Skills:\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.\n10-15 years of progressive procurement/purchasing experience, with significant experience in the construction industry.\nHands-on experience developing and implementing procurement policies and SOPs.\nExperience evaluating, selecting, and implementing procurement or ERP software/systems.\nStrong negotiation, vendor management, and contract administration skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Vista) is a plus.\nStrong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with project, estimating, and finance teams.\nSelf-starter, comfortable operating with limited existing process or infrastructure.\nBenefit Summary:\nMedical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, 401K Plan with company match, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays\nCore Values:\nWork Safely: Safety is our Culture\nDeliver Return: Earning a fair profit increases our long-term value\nValue People: Take Care of Employees and They Will Take Care of Clients\nAct with Integrity: Honesty Builds Trust\nProvide Solutions: Better Solutions Yield Greater Satisfaction\nWork Authorization:\nCandidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
