We offer a competitive compensation package, flexible and hybrid work schedules, and a comprehensive benefits program to attract and retain the best professionals in the field.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nNA\nEDUCATION\nHigh school graduate with vocational/technical training in basic drafting technology (or equivalent working knowledge/experience).\nQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE\nEntry-level classification normally requiring a working knowledge of fundamental CADD applications.\nTYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nPrepares simple engineering and construction drawings from sketches or verbal instructions utilizing manual or computer-assisted drafting/design techniques.\nPrepares drawings for markups, charts, and tables.\nPerforms related fundamental engineering support tasks such as updating computer lists, filing prints, distributing drawings, making simple calculations, proofreading reports, etc. \nMay utilize information from vendor prints, catalogs, technical manuals, etc. \nSupports field assignments as required.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nThis role will collaborate within a multi-discipline team in an effort to fully develop, deliver and complete a successful project. As part of this collaborative effort, this role requires the presence of the individual working within a group setting, with regular interaction during meetings and one-on-one, face-to-face discussions with other individuals on the team on a daily basis.\nLANGUAGE SKILLS\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before clients or employees of the organization.\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS\nAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nOccasionally may conduct or participate in a field trip to an operating plant or construction site. This requires normal hearing, the ability to stand, walk, reach, climb and balance, clear close and distance vision, depth perception and the ability to focus. Lifting up to 25 pounds may be required.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nNormal work environment will be a business office with moderate noise. Occasionally may visit or be temporarily assigned to work in an operating plant or at a construction site.
