We offer a competitive compensation package, flexible and hybrid work schedules, and a comprehensive benefits program to attract and retain the best professionals in the field.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDirectly manages and mentors Project Managers, Project Leads, Project Engineers, and supporting technical professionals required to execute large capital EPC projects.\nResponsible for staffing, performance management, and development of project leadership talent.\nProvides functional oversight of engineering, construction, project controls, scheduling, procurement, quality, and safety teams.\nEDUCATION:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering required.\nAdvanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) registration preferred.\nEquivalent experience may be considered with management approval.\nQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:\n10-15 years of total industry experience, including 11+ years in Project Management or Project Leadership roles.\nDemonstrated experience leading large-capital EPC projects, preferably in the Pulp & Paper, Energy, Power, and/or Midstream sectors.\nProven success managing projects with:Large, multi-discipline teams\nSignificant EPC contract values\nComplex scopes, interfaces, and execution strategies\n\nStrong working knowledge of EPC execution models, project controls, cost forecasting, risk management, and construction execution.\nExperience working directly with owner organizations, executive-level stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.\nProficient in engineering, project management, and reporting systems commonly used in EPC environments.\nTYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nActs as the primary interface with clients for large-scale EPC capital projects, ensuring responsiveness to client needs and alignment with business objectives.\nDevelops and maintains strong executive-level client relationships through regular reviews, alignment sessions, and performance reporting.\nEstablishes and leads the overall project organization, execution strategy, and staffing plan.\nOversees development and execution of engineering, procurement, and construction cost estimates for major capital projects.\nAccountable for safety, quality, cost, and schedule performance across all phases of EPC execution.\nLeads risk identification, mitigation planning, and root-cause investigations related to safety incidents, quality issues, cost overruns, and schedule impacts.\nEnsures project teams adhere to corporate project management standards, quality systems, and safety requirements.\nMaintains responsibility for the EPC capital budget, strategy, and approval of project expenditures.\nSupports proposal development, client presentations, and business development efforts for large capital EPC pursuits.\nEnsures effective project close-out, lessons learned capture, and client satisfaction.\nLANGUAGE SKILLS:\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or board of directors. Job success often hinges upon interpersonal communication and relationship development skills, and job tasks require frequent interchange and successful completion depends in large part upon effective interaction and communication with others.\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS:\nAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as cost and schedule risk analysis and estimating techniques.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nOccasionally, will conduct or participate in field trips to existing plants. This requires the ability to stand, walk, reach, climb and balance. Lifting of 25 pounds may be required. It also requires clear close and distance vision, depth perception and the ability to focus. Normal work environment will be a business office with moderate noise. Occasionally, will conduct or participate in construction meetings at job sites in operating plants.
