Relocation-ready and eager to grow, you’re looking for more than a job - you want a career with momentum.\n- Bachelor’s degree preferred\n- Willingness and ability to relocate\n- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus\nJob Overview\nThe Assistant Operations Manager will be responsible for assisting with coordinating and directing operations necessary to carry out contractual responsibilities between SBM and customers including all necessary planning, supervision, budgeting, vendor and supply contact, customer relations and other high level managerial or supervisor responsibilities.\nRoles & Responsibilities\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.\nAssist with developing work schedules to ensure adequate service\n\nPrepare schedules for service personnel, assigns personnel to routes\n\nAssist with inspection and evaluation of establishment for program compliance, i.e., safety, quality, and service\n\nAssist with inventory supplies and equipment\n\nInvestigate and promote improved equipment and methods\n\nReview customer requests for service to ascertain cause for service request, type of malfunction, and address with manager\n\nAssist with implementation and execution of policies and goals\n\nInspect plant and evaluate use of space and facilities\n\nAssist with plan, budget, and schedule modifications including cost estimates bid sheets and contracts\n\nParticipate in the development of long-range plans, conceptual designs, and capital outlay requirements for program/process improvements\n\nAssist with coordination of program specifications, requirements for proposals and contracts, and associated documents\n\nMaintain a safe work environment for self and employees\n\nAssist with compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, such as, FLSA, OSHA, ADA, etc.\n\nAct as liaison between company, customers, clients, employees, and subcontractors\n\nReview correspondence concerning contractors and responds as appropriate\n\nEstablish and maintain contact with contractors to ensure the smooth working of the contract process\n\nConduct and attend meetings to communicate top down, and bottom up on a consistent real time basis, with customers, clients, and employees\n\nAssist with human resource concerns and issues\n\nSome travel may be required for this position\n\nQualification\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Degree required in Business Management, or a related field with 2+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nCertificates, Licenses, Registrations\nCPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus\nBilingual a plus\nMay be required to have a valid driver’s license.\nCompleted all safety and task training certification.\nMay be required to be forklift certified.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nBilingual a plus\nAbility to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nKnowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team.\nKnowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment.\nKnowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.\nCustomer service, problem solving, time management, project management, planning, excellent communication, presentation, interviewing, coaching, and training skills.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office and Computer Skills.\nAbility to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.\nAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, employees, and general public.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nCarries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
