Other duties may be assigned.\nComply with safety rules, policies, and procedures. Stop at risk behavior of others and self.\nMaintain current forklift training and certification as required by company policies.\nPerform repetitive tasks.\nTake directions and respond to supervision.\nMove levers or controls of lifting devices to load, unload or stack material.\nTalk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner.\nMove waste pallets around the PIT area by positioning forks, or lifting platform devices under, over, or around loaded pallets or skids.\nStack waste pallets in the proper waste trailers.\nCheck loads are secure and maintain a clean and safe environment.\nKeep the PIT area organized and clean.\nPerform daily equipment checks.\nMaintain logs and schedules.\nRemove machine attachments and waste material from machines if applicable.\nSupport shift lead in completing punch-list items.\nUse proper personal protective equipment.\nPresent a professional appearance and conduct.\nUnderstand customer service and satisfaction.\nUnderstand reporting systems and importance of the environment.\nMaintains dock and collection areas.\nCollect, salvage, and sort reusable or recycle materials or waste materials.\nReports incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.\nFill in during staff shortages, such as in custodial, recycle, or maintenance.\nThe ability to drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities may be necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualification\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
