Other duties may be assigned.\nPerforms janitorial duties.\n\nPerforms all duties listed on the daily schedule.\n\nProvides work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor.\n\nAssists Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed.\n\nOperates motorized cleaning equipment.\n\nTracks equipment inventory, maintenance and repair.\n\nSchedules clean up and repairs as needed.\n\nMaintains daily upkeep of assigned area.\n\nTracks and maintains supplies inventory.\n\nAssists Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment.\n\nPerforms quality, service, and safety inspections.\n\nReports incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.\n\nReports employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor.\n\nMonitors employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, and supplies.\n\nCorrects at risk behavior, then reports to the supervisor immediately.\n\nProvide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement.\n\nQualification\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. At least 1 year related experience.\nCertificates, Licenses, Registrations: CPR/AED/First Aid certification. May be required to have a valid driver’s license.Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nAbility to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nKnowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team.\nKnowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment.\nKnowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.\nPhysical Demands & Work Environment\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
