This role focuses on phone, email, and digital outreach to sell global logistics services, including air, ocean, and ground freight. The representative works closely with BDM, pricing, operations, settlement and customer service teams to deliver competitive shipping solutions.\n The role may also support business development opportunities involving companies operating in South Korea and China.\nKey Responsibilities\nSales Support & Lead Generation\nProspecting: Identify and qualify new sales leads through cold calling, email campaigns, and market research.\nPartner with BDMs to execute on new sales leads.\nResearch target accounts to map key decision-makers and uncover new shipping opportunities.\nSchedule qualified meetings and discovery calls for BDMs.\nPipeline Management: Qualify inbound leads by identifying customer shipping volumes, lanes, and pain points.\nMaintain an active pipeline of prospective clients using the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.\nClosing Deals: Negotiate freight rates, terms, and service agreements to secure profitable new shipments.\nAccount Expansion: Cross-sell and upsell additional logistics services (such as customs brokerage or warehousing) to current accounts in support of BDM.\nPricing and Quotation Management\nRate Requests: Coordinate with pricing, procurement, and operations teams to gather competitive ocean, air, and truckload rates.\nProposal Preparation: Prepare accurate, professional freight quotations and proposals for client presentation\nFollow-Up: Follow up on outstanding quotes to close business or gather valuable market feedback.\nCollaboration and Operations\nHandoffs: Ensure a smooth operational handoff of newly won accounts to the customer service, settlement and operations teams.\nMarket Feedback: Report competitor pricing trends and market conditions to management.\nCRM & Pipeline Management\nMaintain clean, up-to-date records of all prospect interactions, leads, and account statuses in the company CRM.\nTrack quotation win/loss ratios and report weekly sales metrics to the sales team.\nSupport preparation of tender responses, RFQs (Request for Quotations), and sales presentations.\n Bachelor's Degree required.\nBilingual in Korean and English required.\n5+years of transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain related experience.( 1 to 3 years of inside sales or customer service)\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data analysis) and PowerPoint. experience using with FIS, WMS, CRM software (such as Salesforce or HubSpot).\nExcellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.\nStrong understanding of international transportation, freight forwarding, and North American transportation
