Our innovative solutions and customer focused approach provide our clients with unmatched value and quality.\nPosition Summary:\nWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Cement Mason Foreman to oversee daily operations on construction sites. The ideal candidate will lead a team of union craft employees, ensure adherence to safety standards, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.\nResponsibilities/Functions:\nSupervise and coordinate activities of construction workers and subcontractors.\nReview project plans and specifications to ensure compliance and quality standards.\nWorking with the Superintendent to schedule work assignments and manage workflow to optimize productivity.\nMonitor project progress and provide regular updates to project Superintendents.\nEnforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.\nConducts safety meetings with union craft employees; explains in detail the work to be accomplished and how it is to be accomplished\nActs as OSHA defined “competent person” on job\nConduct site inspections and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.\nProvide guidance to union craft employees on proper techniques and safety practices.\nResolve/report conflicts and address any issues that arise on the job site.\nMaintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and labor hours.\nCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to facilitate project goals.\nInspect work performed by subcontractors to ensure conformance with specifications\n Essential Skills and Experience:\nMember in good standing of the local union.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in construction management or related fields preferred.\nMinimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry; experience in a supervisory role preferred.\nStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.\nExcellent leadership and team management skills.\nEffective communication and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to read blueprints and technical drawings.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
