You will have a demonstrated track record in identifying operational trends and making data driven recommendations to deliver against core goals for Service, Cost, Cash. Additionally, this role will be viewed as a key support staff member to help drive day to day execution. You should have experience in summarizing and interpreting data as well as providing recommendations back to the finance and management teams.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nAct as a primary liaison between SCJ and external A/P auditors\nResolve payment issues and open A/R balances with SC Johnson suppliers\nImprove percentage of “no touch” transactions by working with suppliers to ensure accurate billing information is properly communicated via EDI\nConduct root cause analysis, as required, to diagnose and remedy all freight payment process issues\nOversee timely investigation and resolution of all billing exceptions and ensure strict adherence to SC Johnson payment terms\nEnforce all applicable SC Johnson policies and procedures pertaining to SOX/GIA compliance\nSupport period-end close activities, to include, monitoring of open/missing invoices and posting of accruals\nAssist, as required, with transportation budgeting process\nOversee supplier claims program from filing through resolution and receivables of claim payment\nCreate and maintain all process documentation associated with invoice settlement\nMaintain weekly, monthly and quarterly payment reports that monitor spend by mode, carrier and direction of freight\nDevelop and publish settlement KPIs and analytical reports\nFreight Payment Scope:\nInbound, replenishment and customer freight to include all modes such as ocean, air, truckload, intermodal, LTL and parcel\nReverse Logistic charges associated with product, pallet and dunnage returns\nWarehouse spotting and short haul shuttling services\nTrailer rental and storage\nWarehouse shipping and receiving, storage and handling, picking/packing/kitting\nMaterial handling equipment rentals, leases, and maintenance programs\nWarehouse rent and utilities\nSupplies, such as pallets, air bags and dunnage\nContract and professional services\nLogistics applications and systems\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING\nUniversity/Bachelor’s Degree required and 2 years of experience in supply chain (internships included), or an advanced degree and one year of experience in supply chain\nQualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS\nundefined\nPrior experience in Supply Chain or a related function\nDrive for Results\nProblem Solving\nDealing with Ambiguity\nDecision Quality\nIntegrity & Trust\nPriority Setting\nFinancial Acumen\nPreferred 2-3 years’ experience with processing freight bills to include truckload, less than truckload and ocean\nStrong analytical skills; the ability to powerfully portray data and leverage to drive continuous improvement\nSelf starter who can drive results given ambiguity and minimal direction and oversight\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills across the organization\nThe ability to build business partnerships and external collaboration opportunities wherever possible\nKnowledge of benchmarking and implementation of industry standards and best practices\nAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The expected base salary range for this position is between 61,840.00 USD - 64,932.00 USD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives.
