Role Overview The SHE Associate Manager leads site-level implementation of SC Johnson’s Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) programs, ensuring compliance with Nigerian regulatory requirements and SCJ global SHE Standards. The role provides hands-on technical leadership in managing risks associated with high-hazard chemical and aerosol manufacturing operations, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, operational risk reduction, and timely closure of identified SHE gaps. Working closely with site leadership and reporting to the Regional SHE Manager, the role drives continuous improvement through effective deployment of SHE standards, compliance assessments, corrective actions, and verification of operational controls. Success requires strong technical expertise, visible shop-floor engagement, and the ability to influence and develop operational teams to take ownership of day-to-day SHE performance.
