JOB RESPONSIBILITIESAdminister, maintain, and support Microsoft SQL Server databases to ensure availability, reliability, and performance.\nPerform database performance tuning, query optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting.\nMonitor database performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and stability.\nInvestigate and resolve database-related issues and operational incidents.\nSupport SQL development, database integrations, and related technical requirements as needed.\nUse SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and other Microsoft development tools to manage and troubleshoot database environments.\nFollow established security policies, data protection practices, and infrastructure standards.\nMaintain accurate technical documentation, database configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.\nCollaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to review requirements and support system improvements.\nFollow change management procedures and ensure database-related changes are properly documented.\nRequirements\nAt least 3 years of hands-on database administration experience, primarily with Microsoft SQL Server.\nStrong experience in SQL Server performance tuning, debugging, query optimization, and troubleshooting.\nHands-on experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).\nSolid understanding of database administration, maintenance, and performance monitoring.\nAbility to diagnose database issues and implement effective solutions.\nStrong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.\nGood written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nAbility to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt to changing requirements. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nAn additional 1-2 years of SQL development experience.\nExperience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).\nApproximately 1-2 years of experience using Visual Studio and VS Code.\nGeneral networking knowledge, ideally supported by 1-2 years of relevant experience.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft development platforms and server infrastructure.\nRelevant Microsoft SQL Server, database administration, or other industry-recognized certifications.
