Provide\ntroubleshooting, coaching, and training for team members to enhance their\nability to handle similar situations in the future.\n\nPerform networkmaintenance tasks such as firmware and code upgrades, as well as\nreconfigurations of network devices to align with best practices.\n\nIdentify reoccurringissues in client’s environment and proactively provide recommendations to\nimprove efficiency, performance, and reliability of client’s network.\n\nAccurately maintaindocumentation and comply with service administrative procedures, ticket\nupdates, time entries and timesheets.\n\nPerform networkassessments.\n\nMake recommendationson the configurations of network management software and the software platforms\nadministered through the managed services NOC.\n\nStay up to date withrelevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.\n\nFunctioncollaboratively as part of a fast-paced, client-oriented team.\n\nMaintain support deskexpectations of time entry details and communication standards.\n\nParticipate afterhours work as required.\n\nAttend requiredcompany and department meetings.\n\nAct in accordance withCompany policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook.\n\nPerform other relatedduties as assigned.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree andfour years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and\nexperience.\n\nPrevious MSPexperience preferred.\n\nCurrent high level industry recognizedcertifications including one or more of the following: CCNA, CCNP.\n\nSolid understanding ofnetwork technologies and the OSI model.\n\nProven experience ineffective network troubleshooting.\n\nProficiency withnetwork diagnostic, management, and diagram tools.\n\nCommunication - Mustpossess strong communication skills in working with technical and non-technical\npeople, and the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relations among\nall levels of an organization.\n\nCommitment - This isneeded to see a project or task from start to finish. Showing that you are a\nhard worker and committed to your job and improving yourself shows you can take\nsomething on and finish it.\n\nInitiative - Beingable to demonstrate that you can handle problems on your own and deal with\nthem. Not waiting to be told what to do when you see a problem. If you can’t\nsolve it yourself, go find someone who can.\n\nConfidence - When youare assured of your own ability, it shows. You may however need assistance for\nthe tough situations that can arise.\n\nTeamwork - The abilityto work with others on a combined task, make contributions to the task, and\nshare the responsibility of the outcome.\n\nTime Management - Yourability to prioritize several tasks and keep them running simultaneously\n(multitasking). Also being able to recognize and respond to changing priorities\nin order to meet deadlines.\n\nEnthusiasm - You needto be able to motivate yourself.\n\nFlexibility - Adapt tochanges in the work environment.
