This\nposition collaborates with Solution Engineers, sales professionals, and client\nstakeholders to define secure, resilient, scalable network architectures, with\nparticular emphasis on Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Nexus, and Cisco Meraki\ntechnologies.\nThe architect leads discovery and design across enterprise\ncampus, data center networking, wireless, network access control (NAC), secure\naccess service edge (SASE), and adjacent network security technologies. The\nrole requires the ability to translate business and technical requirements into\ndefensible architectures, implementation approaches, proposals, and services\nscopes for both technical and executive audiences.\nThe Senior Network Solutions Architect also provides\nbillable consulting services, develops repeatable network standards and\npractices, and serves as a senior technical mentor within the organization.\nJOB\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nSupport specialized opportunity identification, technicalqualification, and account planning for major accounts and significant\nterritory opportunities involving enterprise networking and network security.\n\nLead client discovery, current-state assessment,requirements analysis, solution architecture, and technical validation for\ncomplex network opportunities.\n\nDesign enterprise campus, branch, data center, and wirelessnetwork solutions using Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Nexus, and Cisco Meraki\nplatforms.\n\nArchitect network access control solutions, includingidentity-based access, device profiling, guest access, posture assessment,\nsegmentation, and policy enforcement.\n\nDesign SASE and security service edge solutions thatintegrate secure connectivity, cloud-delivered security, identity, remote\naccess, and branch networking requirements.\n\nDevelop routing, switching, wireless, segmentation, highavailability, resiliency, quality of service, multicast, and network management\narchitectures.\n\nProvide technical leadership for Cisco-focused proposals,demonstrations, assessments, workshops, proofs of concept, and responses to\nclient RFPs.\n\nDevelop bills of materials, licensing recommendations,logical and physical designs, assumptions, implementation approaches, and\nservices estimates.\n\nIdentify and engage appropriate post-sales engineering,project management, managed services, and manufacturer resources to support\nsuccessful delivery.\n\nBuild collaborative relationships with account teams,internal technology groups, manufacturers, and client stakeholders to shape\ntechnically sound, commercially viable solutions.\n\nProfessionally present network architectures, tradeoffs,migration approaches, risks, and recommendations to technical teams and\nexecutive leadership.\n\nResearch and advance network architecture disciplines,standards, validated designs, best practices, service budgets, and delivery\ndocumentation.\n\nPartner with Technology Practice Group teams to strengthenCisco networking, NAC, wireless, SASE, and network security practices, with\nattention to repeatability, profitability, and service quality.\n\nEngage Sales and Sales Engineering teams to transfertechnical, business, and consultative skills that improve network opportunity\nqualification and solution development.\n\nMentor Solution Engineers and Solutions Architects, andprovide senior-level guidance on complex network and security designs.\n\nCoordinate with Project Management and Post-salesEngineering to provide complete and accurate documentation for successful\nimplementation, transition, and support.\n\nEvaluate proposed network and security architectures fortechnical adequacy, interoperability, operational supportability, scalability,\nand alignment with client requirements.\n\nAssist with network assessments, design reviews, migrationplanning, remediation planning, and architecture governance engagements.\n\nProvide billable consultative services for installation,configuration, optimization, troubleshooting, and strategic planning when\nneeded.\n\nLeverage Cisco, partner, and internal resources to addressclient concerns, resolve design issues, and advance opportunities through the\nsales process.\n\nParticipate in seminars, showcases, client workshops, publicevents, and internal communities to strengthen market awareness and technical\ncredibility.\n\nAct in accordance with company policies and procedures asset forth in the Employee Handbook.\n\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation and Experience\nBachelor's degree and eight years of progressivelyresponsible experience in enterprise networking, network security, or a closely\nrelated technology specialization; or an equivalent combination of education\nand experience.\n\nDemonstrated experience architecting complex clientsolutions in a consulting, systems integration, managed services, or enterprise\nenvironment is required.\n\nLicenses and Certifications\nOne of the following current certifications is required:CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure, CCIE Enterprise Wireless, or CCIE Security.\nCCIE Security is preferred.\n\nAdditional expert or professional-level Cisco certificationsin enterprise networking, security, wireless, data center networking, or design\nare preferred.\n\nCurrent vendor certifications related to NAC, SASE, secureaccess, network security, or wireless technologies are preferred.\n\nValid Driver's License, proof of personal insurance, and anacceptable driving record.\n\nREQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS\nExpert-level knowledge of enterprise routing and switching,including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, route redistribution, first-hop redundancy,\nspanning tree, link aggregation, QoS, multicast, and high-availability design.\n\nAdvanced architecture and design experience with CiscoCatalyst switching and wireless technologies, including Cisco Catalyst Center\nand software-defined campus capabilities.\n\nAdvanced architecture and design experience with Cisco Nexusdata center switching, including NX-OS, virtual port channels, data center\ninterconnect considerations, and leaf-spine architectures.\n\nAdvanced architecture and design experience with CiscoMeraki switching, wireless, security appliances, Systems Manager, and\ncloud-managed networking.\n\nDemonstrated experience designing and integrating NACsolutions, including Cisco Identity Services Engine or comparable enterprise\nNAC platforms.\n\nDemonstrated experience with SASE architectures, includingSD-WAN, zero trust network access, secure web gateway, cloud access security\nbroker, firewall as a service, and identity-aware policy enforcement.\n\nAdvanced knowledge of enterprise wireless design, includingRF fundamentals, site survey interpretation, controller and cloud-managed\narchitectures, roaming, location services, and wireless security.\n\nStrong understanding of network segmentation and securitypolicy, including VLAN and VRF design, access control, macrosegmentation,\nmicrosegmentation, TrustSec and security group tags, and policy-based access.\n\nExperience integrating network infrastructure withfirewalls, identity providers, endpoint platforms, monitoring systems, logging\nplatforms, IP address management, DNS, DHCP, and cloud connectivity services.\n\nAbility to assess existing networks, identify materialtechnical and operational risks, and develop pragmatic remediation and\nmigration roadmaps.\n\nAbility to produce high-quality diagrams, design narratives,statements of work, assumptions, implementation dependencies, and\nexecutive-level recommendations.\n\nWorking knowledge of automation and programmabilityconcepts, including APIs, controller-based management, configuration templates,\nand infrastructure lifecycle management.\n\nExcellent communication skills with technical andnon-technical audiences, including the ability to lead complex discovery\nsessions and explain architectural decisions, constraints, and tradeoffs.\n\nExcellent organizational, prioritization, documentation, andtime-management skills, with the ability to exercise independent judgment in a\nchanging environment.\n\nDemonstrated
