and Responsibilities \nLaboratory Testing & Analysis\nConduct laboratory analysis of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process samples, and finished products in accordance with approved test methods and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).\nPerform physical, chemical, and where applicable, analytical tests on agrochemical products.\nVerify that test results comply with approved product specifications before reporting.\nConduct routine laboratory testing of formulated products before release to packing lines for packaging.\nCollect representative samples of raw materials, packaging materials, intermediates, and finished products in accordance with approved sampling procedures.\nPerform visual inspections of incoming materials and finished products.\nInspect plastic bottles, caps, labels, cartons, and other packaging materials for compliance with approved specifications.\nMonitor product appearance, colour, consistency, packaging integrity, coding, and labeling during routine inspections.\nConduct in-process inspections and sampling during formulation, filling, capping, coding, sealing, labeling, and packaging operations.\nVerify that critical product characteristics remain within approved specifications.\nReport any abnormal results or deviations observed during production.\nSupport Production and Quality Assurance in resolving product quality non conformance\nOperate laboratory equipment in accordance with approved procedures.\nEnsure laboratory instruments are clean, calibrated, and fit for use.\nReport equipment malfunction or calibration issues promptly.\nMaintain laboratory equipment logs and usage records.\nRecord laboratory results accurately in laboratory worksheets, logbooks, and electronic systems.\nPrepare Certificates of Analysis (COAs) where applicable.\nMaintain complete laboratory records and sample traceability.\nPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly laboratory reports.\nEnsure laboratory documentation complies with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).\nIdentify and report raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products that fail to meet specifications.\nSegregate and clearly identify rejected or non-conforming samples as instructed.\nParticipate in investigations relating to Out-of-Specification (OOS) laboratory results.\nAssist in product quality investigations by providing laboratory findings. \nProvide laboratory support during production trials and validation batches.\nSupport evaluation of new raw materials and packaging materials through laboratory testing.\nWork closely with Production and Formulation teams to provide timely laboratory results.\nAssist in resolving quality issues affecting manufacturing operations.\nMonitor stock levels of laboratory reagents, chemicals, consumables, and glassware.\nReport shortages of laboratory materials promptly.\nEnsure laboratory cleanliness and proper housekeeping at all times.\nEnsure proper storage and disposal of laboratory chemicals and retained samples.\nPerform quality testing in accordance with approved specifications and test methods.\nEnsure accuracy, reliability, and integrity of laboratory data.\nMaintain traceability of samples and laboratory records.\nVerify conformity of raw materials, packaging materials, intermediates, and finished products.\nSupport internal quality audits relating to laboratory activities.\nComply with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).\nComply with all Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.\nWear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while carrying out laboratory and inspection activities.\nHandle chemicals, reagents, and laboratory equipment safely.\nReport laboratory hazards, chemical spills, damaged equipment, and unsafe conditions immediately.\nEnsure proper segregation and disposal of laboratory waste.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.\nRequirements\nBachelor Degree or HND in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, or a related science discipline.\nMinimum of 2-4 years experience in Quality Control or Laboratory Operations within a manufacturing environment.\nExperience in agrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, FMCG, or industrial manufacturing is an added advantage.\nHands-on experience in laboratory
