Senior Content Marketing Manager

What You'll Be Doing

• Own the content strategy and editorial calendar for the blog and technical content across the funnel.
• Produce and commission engineer-grade work: architecture deep dives, benchmarks, how-tos, and thought leadership.
• Own SEO end to end, and build for AEO and GEO so ScaleOps surfaces inside AI answers, not just the blue links.
• Track rankings, organic traffic, and AI answer visibility, and turn the data into a continuous optimization loop.
• Manage the WordPress blog end to end, plus external agencies and freelancers from brief to delivery.
• Activate internal experts, especially the developer advocate and engineering, as sources and contributors.
• Run the engine AI-first, using AI across research, drafting, optimization, and repurposing to multiply output.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of B2B content marketing experience; devtools, infrastructure, or cloud is a strong plus.
• Credibility with platform engineering, DevOps, and SRE audiences, and comfort with R&D-world technical content.
• AI-first by default, with a real track record of using AI tools to produce and scale content.
• Hands-on SEO ownership and genuine fluency in AEO and GEO.
• Experience managing WordPress and external agencies.
• Proven ability to draw content out of internal engineers and developer advocates.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes, cloud cost, or the DevOps ecosystem.
• Comfortable with high autonomy in a high-growth startup.
