You will set a shared strategic direction, coach the team, and ensure consistent product management practices, from customer discovery to delivery and business impact.\nYour scope will cover a broad range of products, including Managed Relational Databases, Managed OpenSearch, Serverless SQL Database, messaging and streaming services, Data Lab, Data Warehouse, Cockpit observability, and Data Orchestrator.\nYou will work closely with the Head of Product AI, Sales, Product Marketing, Engineering, and other business teams to build a coherent Data and AI strategy and support Scaleway's growth.\nYOUR DAILY ROUTINE\nDefine and execute the product strategy for Scaleway's Data portfolio, ensuring alignment across products and teams.\nEstablish a clear strategic vision for the Data tribe and align individual product strategies with shared business objectives.\nChallenge and support Product Managers in defining their product vision, priorities, and roadmaps.\nPartner with the Head of Product AI to develop a coherent Data and AI strategy.\nDrive best practices in product management, including customer discovery, customer-centricity, delivery excellence, product-market fit, and impact-driven decision-making.\nIdentify growth opportunities, optimize product positioning, and maximize revenue across the portfolio.\nWork with Product Marketing to define competitive pricing strategies and strengthen product differentiation.\nSupport a sales-led approach by regularly engaging with customers and prospects to understand their needs and identify business opportunities.\nCollaborate with Engineering, Sales, Product Marketing, and senior leadership to align priorities and drive cross-functional initiatives.\nCoach and develop a team of 7 experienced Product Managers, supporting their career growth and strengthening the Product department's collective impact.\nABOUT YOU\nHARDSKILLS\nExtensive product management experience: 10+ years in Product Management, with significant experience defining and executing product strategy.\nLeadership experience: Proven experience leading and developing Product Managers, ideally senior or principal-level professionals.\nData product expertise: Strong understanding of the Data ecosystem, with deep technical expertise in at least one major area, such as SQL/NoSQL/vector databases, messaging and queuing systems, large-scale analytics, or data streaming frameworks.\nCloud and infrastructure knowledge: Experience in cloud computing, B2B infrastructure SaaS, or open-source Data technologies.\nDistributed systems expertise: Strong understanding of scalability, resilience, security, and compliance requirements, including GDPR, data sovereignty, and relevant certifications such as ISO and SecNumCloud.\nBusiness acumen: Ability to identify growth opportunities, optimize pricing and positioning, strengthen product-market fit, and drive revenue.\nStrategic thinking: Ability to build a long-term product vision, align multiple roadmaps, and translate strategy into measurable business outcomes.\nSOFTSKILLS\nLeadership and coaching: Ability to empower experienced Product Managers, support their career development, and foster a high-performing team.\nStakeholder management: Strong diplomacy, facilitation, and communication skills to align diverse stakeholders and navigate complex decisions.\nStructured and methodical approach: Rigorous prioritization, clear decision-making, and disciplined execution.\nCollaborative mindset: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across Product, Engineering, Sales, and executive teams.\nCustomer and business orientation: Ability to connect customer needs, sales opportunities, product decisions, and business impact.\nHumility and team spirit: A collaborative leadership style that values collective success, constructive challenge, and shared ownership.\nWHAT YOU WILL FIND AT SCALEWAY ++++\nHybrid work: We offer up to 3 days of remote work per week.\nOffices: Our offices are spacious, dynamic workspaces with bold design, conveniently located near public transport.
