Credentialing Coordinator, National Imaging Network

We manage the medical imaging pathway end-to-end. Providers order through a single point of entry, and from there, we run the entire medical diagnostic pathway. Managing the full pathway, rather than brokering pieces of it, is what lets us deliver imaging faster, at higher quality, and at a lower cost than the fragmented status quo.

We’re looking for a Credentialing Coordinator at an exciting time - we’ve successfully launched multiple platforms and products, raised over $100m in VC funding, reached profitability, and have a growth trajectory of over 100% YoY.

WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE IN THIS ROLE:

As the key accountability layer in our technology-enabled credentialing model, you will be the guardian of the integrity of our national imaging network. Reporting to the Provider Network Director, you’ll oversee CAQH administration, sanctions monitoring, and delegated oversight. While our automated tools handle the heavy lifting of data pulls, you are the human intelligence that ensures proper review, documentation, and escalation. You’ll help leadership make informed decisions by maintaining a "gold standard" audit trail in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

As a scale-up business, you can expect your role to develop over time. Here are some of the types of things you could be getting involved in:

• Network Integrity: Managing the end-to-end provider enrollment process, ensuring every clinician in our network is fully vetted and ready to treat patients.

• CAQH Mastery: Serving as our primary power user for CAQH ProView, managing profile pulls, re-attestations, and troubleshooting technical enrollment hurdles.

• Compliance Vigilance: Investigating sanctions alerts and NPDB queries, ensuring that any adverse findings are documented and escalated with precision.

• Delegated Oversight: Partnering with our largest provider groups to audit their credentialing standards and maintain accurate, up-to-date rosters.

• Lifecycle Management: Owning the re-credentialing calendar to ensure no provider's compliance lapses, working closely with our Account Management team to resolve bottlenecks.

• Audit Readiness: Keeping our documentation "boardroom ready" at all times, ensuring licenses, COIs, and accreditations are organized and up to date.

WHAT YOU MIGHT BRING TO THE TABLE:

You don't need to tick all the boxes to apply for this role. Whether it's your first role or your fifth role, we believe everyone can add value, learn, and grow. However, these might be some of the ways you are currently adding value:

• Credentialing Expertise: You have a solid foundation in healthcare credentialing, provider enrollment, or managed care operations.

• Platform Knowledge: You’re a pro with CAQH ProView and understand the nuances of NPDB query processes.

• Precision & Detail: You have a "compliance mindset" and a high bar for accuracy-you’re the person who catches the expiration date that everyone else missed.

• Problem-Solving Skills: You are comfortable investigating discrepancies and can work independently to resolve ambiguous provider files.

• Tech-Fluency: You are proficient in Google Workspace (especially Sheets) and are comfortable working in a technology-first startup environment.

• Certification (Bonus): CPCS or CPMSM certification is a plus, as is experience with CAQH SanctionsTrack℠.

• Niche Experience (Bonus): Background in radiology, imaging, or high-growth outpatient provider networks.

Tier 2 - For this role, you're expected to be AI-Amplified. AI is part of your daily workflow for drafting, analysis, and research, and you know how to check its output and use it responsibly with sensitive data. (most commercial, marketing, finance, people, and G&A roles)

One assessment principle across all tiers: we're testing judgment and adaptability, not whether you've memorized today's tools. Tools change quarterly; the ability to learn and apply them is what compounds.

HOW WE WILL INTERVIEW YOU:

We keep our interview process short and sweet. Here are the stages you can expect, but we might switch up the order depending on team availability:

• 30-minute introductory phone call with a member of our Talent Team.

• If it feels like there is an initial fit for all, we will invite you to a 45-minute video call with the hiring manager. This is a more structured interview that will deep-dive into the role and technical needs.

• 'Scan Standard' interview, where our panel screens for values alignment and the success factors that matter at Scan.com. You will also be assessed on your AI fluency at the stage and depth relevant to your role (see AI Requirements above).

• Meet the founders and/or other team members. Again, the length varies depending on how many people are involved and whether in person or via video call.
