As part of Ventures and New Business we works closely with customers and partners to deliver innovative battery solutions that support the decarbonization of industries beyond traditional transport, helping create new growth opportunities while contributing to a more sustainable future.\nRole Summary\nThe Quality Engineer plays a key role in ensuring high product and process quality by supporting daily production activities, solving quality issues, improving inspection and measurement methods, and driving effective corrective and preventive actions. The role helps build a strong quality culture based on ownership, data-driven decisions, and continuous improvement. Working closely with Production, Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain, Supplier Quality, and Laboratory teams, the Quality Engineer contributes to delivering reliable products and improving manufacturing performance.\nJob Responsibilities\nKey responsibilities in this role:\nMonitor product and manufacturing process quality, identifying improvement opportunities and ensuring compliance with quality requirements.\nLead root cause investigations and drive corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.\nSupport production teams in solving day-to-day quality challenges and making data-driven decisions.\nParticipate in quality planning for new products, manufacturing processes, and engineering changes.\nDevelop and improve inspection and measurement methods, including the use of CMM equipment.\nAnalyze quality and production data to identify trends and improve product quality, process stability, and manufacturing performance.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain, Supplier Quality, and Laboratory functions.\nSupport audits and contribute to the continuous improvement of quality systems, standards, and practices.\nWho You Are\nUniversity graduate in a technical field, preferably Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related discipline.\nProven experience in a quality-related position within a manufacturing environment.\nPractical experience in quality problem solving, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.\nKnowledge of Quality Management Systems and relevant standards, particularly ISO 9001; knowledge of IATF 16949 (ISO 14001 is an advantage).\nPractical knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 5 Why, and Ishikawa.\nVery good ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.\nKnowledge of dimensional and geometrical tolerancing (GD&T). \nPractical experience in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).\nExperience with ZEISS CMM systems is preferred and knowledge of ZEISS CALYPSO software is a strong advantage.\nAbility to analyze and interpret measurement reports and use measurement data in quality investigations and decision-making.\nGood understanding of manufacturing processes and production quality principles.\nEnglish language skills at minimum B2 level, enabling effective communication in an international working environment.\nWe welcome applicants from all backgrounds - your unique experience and perspectives is valuable to us.\nThis Is Us\nElectrification is essential to decarbonizing the world, and it needs to happen faster and at scale.
