You’ll join a team building the infrastructure that makes these outcomes repeatable at scale.\nAbout the role\nAs a Product Manager at Scarlet, you will own a meaningful product area end to end. You will develop a deep understanding of the people and problems within it, set a clear direction, decide what matters most, and work with product design and engineering to deliver measurable improvements.\nYou will sit close to regulatory experts, account managers and customers in our London office. Their expertise will give you rich signals, but not a ready-made roadmap. Your job is to turn those signals into a coherent product strategy, make trade-offs openly and ensure what we build improves both the quality and speed of certification.\nYou will have substantial autonomy. We will trust you to form a point of view, test it against evidence and change course when the evidence changes.\nResponsibilities\nOwn the strategy, roadmap and outcomes for a product area, from discovery and definition through launch, adoption and iteration.\n\nPartner closely with product design, engineering and regulatory experts to turn complex requirements into clear, trustworthy workflows.\n\nSpend time with customers and internal users to understand their work, observe friction and distinguish underlying problems from requested features.\n\nPrioritise across customer value, regulatory rigour, operational efficiency, technical constraints and Scarlet’s company goals.\n\nKeep the team aligned on the problem, the intended outcome and the trade-offs behind each decision.\n\nCommunicate product direction, decisions, progress and learning clearly across Scarlet.\n\nHelp improve how Scarlet practises product management as the team grows.\n\nRequired qualifications\nEvidence of owning and shipping complex products from discovery through delivery and iteration.\n\nStrong product judgement, including examples of difficult prioritisation choices made under real constraints.\n\nEnough technical fluency to work effectively with engineers on systems, data, APIs and the trade-offs of AI-enabled products.\n\nClear, precise written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain complex decisions to different audiences.\n\nComfort working in ambiguity, taking responsibility and updating your view when new evidence appears.\n\nHigh standards for product quality, reliability and trust.\n\nPreferred qualifications\nExperience in health technology, enterprise software, vertical SaaS or another regulated industry.\n\nExperience building products for complex, multi-stakeholder or expert-led workflows.\n\nExperience with AI-enabled products, including evaluation, failure modes and appropriate guardrails.\n\nExperience in an early-stage or fast-growing company where product practices were still being formed.\n\nInterview process\nWe typically collapse steps 3 to 5 into one in-person session.\nIntro chat with Johnny - 30 minutes\n\nEngineering and design chats with Niclas and Jono - 30 minutes each\n\nProblem solving session with a member of tech ops - 30 minutes\n\nInterview with Johnny - 30 minutes\n\nCulture interviews with the founders Jamie and James - 30 minutes each\n\nReferences and offer.\n\nApplication note\nYou do not need to meet every preferred qualification to apply.
