About the role

As we grow, we are strengthening our finance function. We are looking for a Finance Director who will be a true business partner to the CEO: someone who makes sure the numbers are right and uses them to shape how we grow. We value an entrepreneurial mindset over purely corporate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support the CEO in overseeing the Company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, monitor performance against KPIs, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decisions and business growth.
• Build financial models for business cases, new markets and commercial deals, with clear visibility into margins and profitability drivers.
• Oversee accounting, treasury and payment operations, including liquidity, FX exposure, settlements and receivables across multiple currencies and jurisdictions.
• Ensure compliance with international accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory requirements, working with auditors and external advisors.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Routing, HR, Legal and Compliance to evaluate financial risks, optimize profitability, improve operational efficiency and support commercial initiatives.
• Build and continuously improve the finance function: processes, controls, systems and the team.

What we are looking for

• 7+ years in finance, including 3+ years in a senior role (Finance Director, Head of Finance, CFO or equivalent).
• Entrepreneurial background: experience in scale-ups or founder-led companies, running your own business, owning a P&L, or building a finance function from scratch.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and international tax; experience with multi-entity, multi-currency, cross-border operations.
• Strong communicator: able to present financial information clearly, simplify complex topics, and adapt the message for different audiences from team level to leadership and shareholders.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into clear recommendations.
• Owner mindset: comfortable with pace and ambiguity, hands-on, and confident challenging decisions with data.
• Experience in telecom, payments, fintech or other high-volume transactional businesses is a plus.
• Experience with crypto, including crypto payments, treasury or accounting, is a plus.
• Russian: native or fluent (mandatory). English: C1 or above (mandatory).
