It shapes how we collaborate, innovate, and create impact together.\nIf you are looking for a role where your contribution is visible, your development matters, and your work supports a more sustainable future, Scatec may be the right place for you.\nReady to make an impact?\nWhy this role matters\nAs an Accountant, you will deliver accurate and timely accounting, reporting and payment processes for Scatec’s Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) operating companies.\nReporting to the Senior Accountant: O&M and EPC OpCos, you will prepare reliable financial information, maintain financial controls and support audit, tax and statutory requirements. Working closely with operational, project and commercial teams, you will help ensure that financial records accurately reflect entity and project performance.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nIn this role, you will take responsibility for accounting activities across your assigned operating companies, including:\nComplete month-end accounting, post supported journals and prepare accurate trial balances within Group reporting deadlines.\nPrepare bank, intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations, resolve reconciling items and maintain fixed asset, lease and debt registers.\nPrepare management accounts, Group reporting packs and cash flow information, with clear explanations of budget variances.\nAccount for O&M revenue, costs and recharges, review EPC percentage-of-completion schedules and process related journals.\nValidate transactions and project allocations with operational teams, monitor cost recoveries and margins, and escalate unusual items.\nReview supplier documentation, coordinate payment runs and prepare short-term cash flow forecasts in line with approved controls.\nPrepare tax workings and statutory reporting schedules, maintain compliance calendars and support relevant submissions.\nPrepare audit files and annual financial statement schedules, respond to audit queries and contribute to improvements in financial controls and processes.\nYour work will support reliable reporting, timely payments and clear visibility of financial performance across the O&M and EPC portfolio.\nWhat you’ll gain\nProfessional growth through ownership, exposure, and meaningful contribution from day one.\nHands-on experience in a role where the challenge is energising, fast-moving, meaningful, and built on learning through doing.\nPractical experience in O&M and EPC accounting across multiple operating companies within a global renewable energy business.\nOpportunities to develop your project accounting, reporting and compliance skills while working with experienced finance and operational colleagues.\nWhat you’ll bring\nExperience and qualifications\nA bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent relevant qualification.\nThree to five years’ relevant financial accounting, reporting or audit experience, preferably across multiple legal entities.\nSound knowledge of IFRS, month-end accounting, reconciliations, management reporting and annual financial statements.\nExperience with payments, cash flow forecasting, audit documentation and tax compliance support, with knowledge of VAT, corporate income tax and financial controls.\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills and working knowledge of ERP and Group reporting systems; experience with Dynamics 365, Cognos, Power BI or Caseware would be advantageous.\nStrong analytical ability, attention to detail and clear communication in English, with the ability to meet deadlines and collaborate across teams.\nExperience in renewable energy, infrastructure, engineering, construction or another project-based environment would be advantageous, particularly exposure to O&M arrangements, EPC contract accounting and IFRS 15.\nAdditional hours may be required around reporting, payment, budgeting and audit deadlines.
