The role will ensure that electrical works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, quality requirements, and schedule commitments. Working closely with contractors, project management teams, and stakeholders, the Electrical Construction Lead will play a critical role in the successful execution and energization of the project.\nWhat you'll be doing\nIn this role, you will:\nLead and supervise all electrical construction activities across the wind farm project site.\nManage contractors and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient execution of electrical works.\nOversee the installation of MV/HV electrical systems, including cables, transformers, substations, switchgear, RMUs, earthing systems, auxiliary systems, and turbine electrical interfaces.\nMonitor construction progress and ensure alignment with project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.\nReview and approve electrical construction methodologies, work plans, inspections, and testing activities.\nCoordinate site interfaces between electrical, civil, mechanical, and commissioning teams.\nIdentify and proactively resolve technical, construction, and interface issues impacting project delivery.\nEnsure all activities comply with project specifications, industry standards, HSE requirements, and quality procedures.\nParticipate in progress meetings and provide regular updates on construction status, risks, and mitigation plans.\nSupport testing, commissioning, energization, and handover activities.\nYour work will directly contribute to the successful delivery of a major renewable energy project.\nWhat you'll gain\nLeadership experience on a large-scale wind energy project.\nExposure to complex electrical construction and commissioning activities.\nThe opportunity to play a key role in delivering critical renewable energy infrastructure.\nProfessional growth through ownership, decision-making, and collaboration with international teams.\nA dynamic environment where innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement are highly valued.\nWhat you'll bring\nExperience and Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.\nMinimum 8 years of experience in electrical construction within wind, solar, substation, transmission, distribution, or large-scale power projects.\nStrong experience leading site electrical construction teams and managing contractors.\nHands-on experience with MV/HV electrical systems, including substations, transformers, switchgear, cables, protection systems, and earthing systems.\nProven experience in construction planning, execution, testing, and commissioning support.\nStrong ability to review and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, technical specifications, and construction documentation.\nDemonstrated experience managing project interfaces, construction risks, and stakeholder coordination.\nStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nFluent in English, both written and spoken.\nWhat it's like to work at Scatec\nAt Scatec, we combine purpose with performance.
